Audio/Video Quality: Bum Rushed 2 was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Quasar for Third Degree Films using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases with a 480 resolution. The lighting was strong, eliminating the shadows and grain like most of Mike's works in the past, the overall look straightforward even with a minimal nod to soft focus a few times, such as during the tease montage. The grain was minimal as was the video noise and I commend the company for upgrading to some high end cameras awhile back, the enhancement assisting Mike in providing some of the best looking smut around. The bitrate tended to hover around the 5.8 Mbps mark most of the time I paid any attention to it and this helped elevate the production a notch in my book. The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, each of them finding Mike's technical expertise matching the right look to make them look their best. The sole audio track was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 256 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited due to the nature of the gonzo shoot. There was also no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers.

Body of Review: Mike Quasar is arguably the most talented director at Third Degree Films who doesn't get naked and bone for a living. That gives him a different mindset from his peers, knowing castration is just one slip away should his wife catch him sampling the goods so I can see why he was so interested in shooting Bum Rushed 2, an all anal excursion staring some of the best butts in the jizz biz such as Kristina Rose, Mason Moore, and Bobbi Starr, to name a few. Like Bum Rushed 1, the idea was that a lot of fans prefer the ladies doing anal instead of generic vaginal scenes, the industry shooting less anal in the last few years from what I've seen. The good news is that Mike caught a lot of those hilarious grimaces the ladies provide when getting a big schlong up their booty, even better news being that almost all of them found their happy spot to enjoy it along the way once warmed up with toys from Evolved Novelties. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Mason Moore

Summary: Bum Rushed 2 by director Mike Quasar for Third Degree Films was not the director's most consistent work of the past year but it had such solid performances by Kristina Rose, Ashli Orion, and Bobbi Starr that it merited a rating of Recommended for strokability, replay value, and heat. In short, Bum Rushed 2 provided anal action in each scene as it advertised, it had some fine asses, and the general impression it left me with was that some fine tuning might elevate the rating in future volumes depending on who is cast. There was a decent degree of fuck for the buck too, making this one worth looking into if you enjoy the cast.
