The Movie:

Born in 1988 in California, the lovely and talented Ms. Sasha Grey is probably best known outside of the adult movie world for appearing in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend experience or, to a lesser extent, appearing alongside David Hess in the indy horror picture, Smash Cut. Mainstream aspirations haven't affected Sasha's adult work, however, as she's still as active as she was when she started in the industry in 2006 at the age of just eighteen.

This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.33.1 fullframe presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans, though they aren't all that high in the mix - this is part of the aesthetic, as the music seems to be what Belladonna wanted up front. The levels are otherwise well balanced and there are no problems with background hiss or distortion.

Extras:

Extras are slim on this disc, though there is a bonus scene. It takes place inside a padded room where Sasha plays a mental patient. A doctor or intern comes in and starts fingering her and then goes down on her. She gives him head and then it cuts to a different room. She takes on two guys on a bed, getting a dick down her throat and another up her ass. Eventually she gets DP'd from a few different angles and then the guy blow their collective loads on her face and into her mouth.

Aside from that, there's a cast list, a filmography section, animated menus, a web-link, scene selection, and trailers for three other Belladonna DVDs available through Evil Angel.

Final Thoughts:

Sasha's considerable and ever expanding fanbase will dig this one, especially if they want to see her get rough and dirty. Belladonna keeps the action coming quickly and Sasha definitely gives her all here. The extras are a bit on the light side but there's something to be said for having almost three hours of all new footage of her in action and at her most departed. Highly recommended.
