Extras: All the real extras were included on the second disc, an extensive array of them provided to set the movie apart from the rest of the pack in the BDSM field. Nina Hartley led the 83:47 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, providing mostly interviews and shots of the scenes being readied for shooting, the director, cast, and crew all provided with ample time to discuss the project from their points of view. Kayden Kross was then up for a straightforward interview lasting 18:41 minutes, followed by an 17:21 minute long interview by Ernest Greene (the director), and lengthy (34:49 minutes) exposition of the bondage set ups from the movie courtesy of Claire Adams and Justine Joli. Then came an internet promotional trailer, a lengthy photogallery, a bonus scene starring Hailey Paige and Michelle B joined by Tommy Gunn for 16:09 minutes (described below). There were some trailers on both discs and spam too, the double disc set working well to keep the bitrates high while not giving up the extras.

Audio/Video Quality: The Perfect Secretary: Training Day was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Ernest Greene for Adam & Eve to be released in this MPEG-2, 480p resolution offering. In keeping with Ernest's older body of work that I'm more familiar with than his newer stuff, the visuals showed how the man is better with educational titles versus all sex encounters, Kayden as the focal point certainly assisting in the quantity of eye candy offered in this feature-lite offering. The video bitrate hovered around 5.1 Mbps and showed off the ladies nicely, the clarity of the content due to solid lighting and camera work as far as I could tell. The skin tones were accurate and the mixture of shots including close-ups, medium and long shots all added to the fun, the composition enhancing the appeal of the ladies. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English stereo, the 192 Kbps audio bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate generic as could be. The moody background music in some portions of the movie was well done though the vocals seemed cookie cutter basic with no separation (the dynamic range minimal).

Body of Review: Ernest Greene is a long time director in the world of porn, many knowing him best due to his wife (Nina Hartley) or work with AIM. Every once in awhile, he is commissioned to shoot a flick for Adam & Eve, typically relating to his field of expertise in the BDSM genre. His latest endeavor is called The Perfect Secretary: Training Day, starring then-contract performer Kayden Kross, the beautiful blond certainly the kind of quality eye candy that many men adore no matter what type of movie she is in. The movie itself showcased her as the next big force of nature at the company, the gal moving to another company as soon as her contract was up for a variety of reasons. This time, she plays a naughty secretary who is given extensive discipline to tame her wanton ways, the movie coming across better than the original I reviewed several years ago. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Kayden Kross, the sexy blond featured on the front cover, was up first as she was introduced by Justine to boss Randy Spears. Summary: The Perfect Secretary: Training Day by director Ernest Greene for Adam & Eve was a solid little introduction to the world of BDSM for beginners, never going too far into the fray but certainly offering a variety of practices that might well work for those wanting something better than the smaller fetish companies have traditionally offered so I rated it as Recommended. Kayden Kross looked exceptionally hot and Alexis Texas provided more range than usual, Mika Tan not given enough material to shine as brightly as possible and Justine Joli not utilized as much as possible. The technical aspects were a step or three up from what the director usually offers too, the extensive extras package adding some fuck for the buck value and strokability I really enjoyed. In short, The Perfect Secretary: Training Day was spicy enough to whet my appetite for further explorations into the hidden world of BDSM, the cast and crew deserving a nod for their work this time.
