Video/Audio:

The Nude Roommate is presented on DVD with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and has been enhanced for anamorphic playback. The film looks fantastic with video that was captured in HD. This results in a much better-than-average looking standard definition release with plenty of detail to take in. There's some loss in quality so expect to see some noise and softness, but otherwise this is a fantastic looking DVD all around. The same can be said for the audio quality, since the sound is solidly presented as well. Dialogue and music are both sharp and crystal clear. If the film looks and sounds this good on DVD, I would love to see the Blu-ray release of this title.

Body of Review:

Released by Digital Playground, The Nude Roommate, is the latest Robby D. flick to store shelves. Like most Robby D. pictures, this one features a cohesive story. There's a plot, a fair bit of dialogue, and in the scenes in the film are set up via a script. It's a change of pace to be sure, but it's a welcome one. In the Nude Roommate the story follows a couple of guys (Manuel Ferrara and Mick Blue) who get the chance to score a massive house, but they decide that a third roommate would be the best way to go. After auditioning some people they turn up with a hot blonde. Is it a recipe for disaster? Or a blessing in disguise?

Scene 1:

After a fair bit of opening plot exposition, the film finally gets to the main attraction. The scene opens up with one of the roommates, Mick Blue, in bed with the beautiful blonde, Breanne. After some pillow talk they decide to get the morning started off the right way, and his morning wood is put to good use. There is some really sexy foreplay as the two tackle each other's privates with lots of love. Kudos to Robby D. for some fantastic camera work as Breanne worked over his cock. Eventually she climbs aboard and her partner goes to town on her pussy. The sex from here on out was very passionate with some deep, hard motions.

Scene 2:

As the first scene comes to a close we get more plot as Mick and his girlfriend are in the kitchen talking and having some breakfast. The new roommate waltzes in stark naked and naturally this causes some friction between the lovers. Some rather hilarious dialogue comes shortly thereafter, and eventually the movie gets on with the next scene. It's revealed that the new roommate, Janie, works from home whatever that means. The guys get it into their heads to find out, and Manuel outs on a ridiculous disguise (Amish beard, silly hat, and creepy glasses). It starts out with Janie giving him a massage, and eventually she starts kissing him and fondling his cock. Naturally sex follows shortly thereafter, and for what it's worth the action is pretty spirited. The sex is hard and fast, and both performers seemed to really enjoy their work.

Scene 3:

As the film moves on Diamond Foxxx makes an appearance and is greeted by Mick. She's apparently his buddy's hot mom, and Mick has to do whatever he can to prevent her from walking in on his two roommates. He takes one for the team and gets down and dirty with her. Boy, that's a sacrifice and a half...For what it's worth the sex is pretty good, though it's not as solid as the other scenes on the release to this point. I really enjoyed the aftermath as Mick reflected on what just happened and was really disturbed by it. It's pretty funny actually.

Scene 4:

In the fourth scene the landlord (Ben English) comes to pay them a visit, but instead of finding any of the roommates he bumps into Cindy Hope for some reason (she's later revealed to be Janie's business partner). There's a little misunderstanding and she's presumed to be the third roommate. One thing leads to another and the two hit the sheets after a few minutes. Cindy is a hotty for sure and this scene is fantastic from start to finish. The foreplay is great, the sex is packed with chemistry between the performers, and the whole things ends on a sultry note. Afterwards the landlord congratulates the two friends on choosing such an awesome roommate.

Scene 5:

As The Nude Roommate comes to a close, we get one final scene here. Manuel is all depressed about Janie, thinking she's little more than a prostitute, but eventually she comes in to set the record straight. She's really just a masseuse and she saw through his silly disguise, so that's the reason she had sex with him, not because it was business. Naturally they get it on here, and the scene brings the film to a close with one heck of a bang. There was a lot of passion here and the sex was arguably the best of what this film had to offer (which included a lot of really great sex to begin with).

Summary:

The Nude Roommate is a stunner. The plot is very entertaining and downright hilarious at times, it's actually well-acted, and the sex is a cut above. In so many ways this release is a must see, and anyone familiar with Robby D. pictures probably already has it on their list. Highly recommended from top to bottom!
