Extras: The only extra adding much value was a 30:08 minutes Behind the Scenes feature by the director himself, most of the footage showing interviews with the ladies as they posed or primped for the camera. There was also a cumshot recap, a photogallery, and some trailers but each of these seemed generic to me so your mileage may vary as to how solid the extras package was this time.

Audio/Video Quality: Booty Balls was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen it was shot in by director Michael Stefano for Red Light District, this standard definition release sporting an MPEG-2 codec with 480i resolution. While Michael is primarily in front of the camera as a meat puppet, he adds a lot of energy to his scenes, particularly those involving black gals and those with big asses. As a director, I see some of his work from time to time but his strength is in POV scenes from what I've reviewed, his knack for picking enthusiastic ladies usually enhancing his productions. The lighting was solid in most scenes here, reducing the grain and mosquito noise of his older works. The composition of the shots seemed to enhance the look of most of the ladies, showing more improvement than most of his previous works for Bone Digital. There were no obvious compression artifacts (though the bitrate hovered around the 4.4 Mbps range) so even the mastering of the DVD was handled well and some of you will appreciate the lack of the formerly displayed watermark of the company logo in the lower right hand corner of the screen during the show. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo (in 192 Kbps) was in English but the actual audio appeared to be shot in monaural with the processing added later on (in the mastering part of the process). The vocals were generally clear but lacked any separation or dynamic range so this is an area that he needs to work more on (just like most of his associates in the industry). The music starting each scene was really generic but that was probably the only real surprise for me in terms of negative technical matters (well, that and how the montages were edited), the rest being pretty decently handled.

Body of Review: Michael Stefano is one of those male performers not content with simply boning babes for a living, directing at various companies like Red Light District for years as well. While he tends to appreciate interracial more than anything else, his devotion to well rounded asses of all colors is well known. His latest fuck flick showcasing lovely asses is called Booty Balls, my understanding being that the ladies were all required to have asses shaped like two large balls but no corresponding stomach as is so often the case. The highlight of the movie according to the advertising was clearly hotty Kristina Rose though Kelly Divine and Monica Santhiago were especially appealing as well. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The montage was again weakly edited, the droning music not helping in the slightest though the visual appeal of Kristina in the sunlight sure helped elevate it for director Michael Stefano. The lighting inside the house, near the wall of glass tiles, was not nearly as well handled, the tease okay but the execution of how it was shot on the iffy side. Once they hooked up though, they kissed affectionately (and believably) and he pawed her soundly, slapping that sweet fleshy ass a few times to punctuate her appeal. He ate her out and she slobbed his knob after some seductive hand work, the active vaginal positions always allowing the camera to favor displays of her fine ass along the way. She seemed into the action and that assisted the enthusiasm of the moment, Michael busting a load of spunk on her ass crack as she spread herself before him in doggy.

Summary: Booty Balls by director Michael Stefano for Red Light District certainly provided some decent levels of strokability and fuck for the buck in the better scenes, most notably the ones starring Kristina Rose, Kelly Divine, and Monica Santhiago, but there was a lack of personal chemistry between some of the performers and the totality of the production arguably merited a rating of Rent It in most ways. In short, Booty Balls was conceptually a fine idea even if the multitude of series released by the company focusing on sweet looking booty needed no further competition but the strength of any such production is measured in the quality of the scenes provided, even the strongest here held back by the way some of the ladies appeared to view them merely as yet another performance. Still, it was worth a look or two and if you are a fan of the cast as a whole, it might be a good idea to check out before dismissing it entirely.
