Audio/Video Quality: Savanna's Anal Gangbang was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480p resolution for the SD version. While not his most visually stunning work of late, it had a straightforward look to it that worked in some ways for the thematic material here, though some technical polishing up probably kept it in the vaults as long as it did, editor Palo Alto handling those chores well enough. The composition of the camera angles was fairly optimal this time, the director balancing his usual dedication to plot over sex with the strokable aspects this time, yet enhancing his thematic approach with B. Skow on camera to capture the sex better. The fleshtones were generally accurate though but the DVD mastering was well done (if only in a bitrate hovering around 3.4 Mbps in SD, making it a mixed bag in terms of visual quality; leaning towards average at best. There was also a company watermark that I wasn't too keen on but most of the camera work seemed to keep this in mind, keeping the majority of action far away from the lower right hand corner. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 256 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent, some of the score meriting a nod from me.

Body of Review: Paul Thomas may have left Vivid Entertainment awhile ago but the vaults still appear to have some of his remaining works, including contract performer showcases using limited themes but enhanced thanks to the technical wizardry of current lead company director, B. Skow. One of the most recent to make it my way is called Savanna's Anal Gangbang, the movie a straightforward little piece that had only three scenes but starred lovely hotty Savanna Samson. This time, Savanna portrays a woman with strong sexual urges that takes her boyfriend up on a bet to engage in wild sex, resulting in an anal gang bang showing the starlet has not lost her touch for enhancing every movie she is in. The back cover described the movie like this: "In the heat of passion, Savanna's boyfriend dares her to allow other men, strange men, to fuck her. Taking the dare to heart, she wanders into the local saloon and seduces not one or two, but all six of the men at the bar. Her boyfriend's voice echoing in her ear, Savanna exhorts them all to "fuck her in the ass until she can't walk home." One six-man anal gang bang later, her face covered in cum, Savanna calls his bluff...in what has to be her most shocking and outrageous sex scene to date." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The stripping and tease portions of the scene were not present so either the footage had problems or PT again dropped the ball for artistic reasons, my disappointment mitigated when Savanna's lovely lips were wrapped around Billy's pecker as she gracefully slobbed his knob. She did not make much eye contact with him when able to do so, straddling her leg over his head to get into a 69, allowing him some oral time even though it was not shown as often, her labia juicy as he satisfied her needs. There were some minor whispers in the background at times but when they started the vaginal screwing, it was less obvious, her active riding including some taste testing before they eventually ended it with him rubbing out a nut of genetic juice to her face.

Summary: Savanna's Anal Gangbang by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment was on the short side for my tastes, clocking in at under 100 minutes with just three scenes. Granted, Savanna Samson is in each scene, and that alone makes this a "must have" for her fans, but the director short changed the rest of the world when the movie could have had another full scene (or two) to flesh out the package as the director of photography would have done (Skow's movie's often provide 3 or 4+ hours of new material) so I rated this as a Rent It. In short, Savanna's Anal Gangbang did show sexually heated MILF Savanna Samson aggressively riding cocks in her ass so there was a lot of truth in advertising here, I just felt more was needed considering the duration of most movies from the company these days is much more but give it a look all the same.
