Audio/Video Quality: Swimsuit Calendar Girls 4 was presented in a crisp 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director William H. Nutsack for Elegant Angel using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480p resolution. The camera work was solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows and the picture appeared to be crisp this time. Nutsack has proven to be a devious genius in terms of catering to what his fans want, expanding upon themes and capturing them in really clear fashion (this one catering to the hordes of swimsuit loving fans out there). I saw no compression artifacts as the video bitrate clocked in around the 3.1 Mbps area; modest enough for an SD flick but better than some on the market these days, and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the female performers as most of her work these days tends to do. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, plenty of room considering how little took place on it but leaving room for future efforts too, the music from My Beat Shop enhancing the end result as usual.

Body of Review: William H. Nutsack and Elegant Angel are sometimes referred to as a pair of "formula heavy" producers by critics, the movies that make addressing what fans want most and applying specific formulas for the cast to follow. While this could be a bad thing if taken to the extreme, I'm more than happy waiting a lot of heated tease, ladies getting oiled up, and then having passionate sex with a partner over artistic endeavors that only work in the minds of drug induced wannabes that make the claims in the first place. William's latest endeavor to apply a formula is called Swimsuit Calendar Girls 4, the movie featuring ladies like Phoenix Marie, Jayden Jaymes, Gracie Glam, Asa Akira, and Tori Black (the popular lady on the cover). As with previous entries in the series, the emphasis on skimpy swimming attire, gobs of sunlight, and lots of oil mixed with water certainly made this one a welcome addition to my review stack this weekend, earlier volumes in the series such that I felt this might really be a winner. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Tori Black

Scene One: Asa Akira, an Asian hotty wearing a purple bikini on a public beach, was up first with a heated montage of outdoor footage where she teased the camera in a seductive manner. The all natural lighting looked great on her and I wish she could have had her scene on the beach rather than in the house with Steve Holmes. The couple started off by kissing and he went further south, stopping at her neck and tits to savor her taste before she blew him with ease. One note of interest here, when I was writing this review and looking for screen captures, the movie locked up on me during her tease montage at about the 1:50:30 minute mark, my stand alone player showing no such problem as the scene played. In short, Swimsuit Calendar Girls 4 was another notch in the belt of Nutsack that proves formulaic porn doesn't have to be boring or lame, the ladies clearly appreciating being allowed to have fun during their respective scenes so check it out but pay close attention to the scenes by Phoenix Marie, Asa Akira, and Gracie Glam all worth extra credit.
