Extras: Besides the usual trailers, five photogalleries, a cast list, filmographies, and a pop shot recap, the best of the bunch would easily be the 37:30 minute long bonus scene between Brianna Love, Bobbi Starr, and Mike Adriano (that I don't recall ever seeing before, there being no label or credit for a particular movie either). As a long time fan of Brianna Love, I have to admit that this was a very solid scene with a lot of replay value and strokability.

Audio/Video Quality: Anal Overdose was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Adriano for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The scenes were all shot with basic lighting to eliminate any shadows, texture, or hints of color variations. The set up was simple with the basic tease, then a male partner would join in for various forms of oral and vaginal intercourse (occasionally anal too), all in some form of point of view fashion. The grain was minimal as was the video noise, the directors trying to provide a basic porn experience here rather than cultivate favorable press by use of silly special effects. It was far from perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual, fans of well rounded women certain to appreciate it. The bitrate tended to hover around the 5.6 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard, the basic editing not really doing much with the footage that I could see but then I don't have access to the raw footage to make a definitive statement. On the negative side, the company logo was watermarked on the lower right hand corner of the entire movie and extras, distracting me more than a little bit given the nature of the presentation. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, a series of jarring musical pieces making the production bug me at times, at least until the sex started and music stopped.

Body of Review: Mike Adriano has been one of the nuts and bolts directors of the gonzo world for some time now, recently upgrading his act to be distributed by Evil Angel. While I didn't see his first release for the company, I did manage to pick up a copy of the second which is titled Anal Overdose, the double disc outing lasting almost 6 hours (longer if you include the bonus scene starring Brianna Love and Bobbi Starr). Going into the movie, I expected the quality of the action to merit as much consideration as the quantity, the anal extravaganza including scenes with Kelly Divine, Ashli Orion, Francesca Le, and various others that have found favor over the years for their heated performances. What I almost immediately noticed was how much more tease and playfulness the movie had compared to those released under his former company, the upgrade thankfully showcasing why the man earned a spot at one of the top companies providing gonzo works at this writing.

The company website described the movie like this: "Mike Adriano is becoming an auteur of kinky anal fetish, as his new Anal Overdose graphically shows. In each of five long scenes, Mike presents two ass-oriented lovelies (well, three of 'em in one scene) in outfits that accentuate the ass curves upon which his camera work concentrates. Among his subjects here: huge-assed, anally-oriented Kelly Divine, Brazilian butt queen Monica Santhiago, MILF favorites Francesca Le and Nicki Hunter, blonde Latina bombshell Bridgette B. and naughty cutie Charlotte Vale. Mike shows us his fascination with female anal penetration by toys, his lighted speculum and his tireless prick. He captures arousing tease footage and girl-girl play, including lots of ass licking, before having the girls share his cock, balls and ass in slobbery style. With no pussy fuck warm-up, his cock goes straight up the ass of every girl. Scene One: Kelly Divine and Monica Santhiago, the two curvy babes featured on the lower right hand corner of the front cover, were up first with Mike Adriano, their own sexual exploits including a ton of tease and showing off their wonderfully thick body parts. They wore their cover outfits and discussed their asses with the director, Monica initially wearing some incredibly tight stretch pants on top of her orange thong. The booty clapping and other tease moves were enhanced by the action being shot outside on a sunny day, Mike rimming them before they moved inside for Kelly to start slobbing his knob while Monica rimmed her. Soon the ladies were licking him all over, including tossing his salad during the messy hummer, Mike hammering away at their asses with lots of ATM going on, the ladies sucking out his genetic juice at the end to cumswap before the camera faded out (the scene lasting over an hour by itself).

Brianna Love and Bobbi Starr (bonus scene only)

Scene Two: Francesca Le, Nicki Hunter, and Diana Prince, were up next as they carried forth with the general theme of the day with Mike Adriano. They were pictured on the lower left hand corner in their skimpy dresses, the ladies flashing in public as they made out and worked themselves into a lather. The lesbian antics played out for a long time, continuing even after he joined them but handled mostly on the secluded balcony of the house they went into with the retro look. The action was definitely ass-centric and included a lot of toys, the ladies using a variety of toys to get off with as their energy levels climbed ever higher. There was a lot of chemistry between them this time, perhaps less so with Mike but he was just a meat puppet here, and all of them showed proper homage to his cock orally. The women were active anal riders and did so much ATM that I can see how Mike has upgraded for his new company, the dirty talk and attempts to get one another off largely successful with Nicki and Francesca sharing his load of spew coming out onto Diana's ass cheeks at the end (all three ladies cumswapping it around each other).

Scene Three: Bridgette B. and Mya Nicole, the blond and brunette couple seen on the middle of the upper half of the cover wearing neon mesh pantyhose, were up next as the last scene of the first disc, joining Mike Adriano for some fun. Their scene lasted around 45 minutes and also included a lot of lesbian action and tease, the decision to play anally clearly agreed upon by all three of the trio. The best looking portion of the scene was in the daylight but even under the tarp where they washed their tits was pretty good (just somewhat saturated), Mike jumping in to rim them and penetrate them anally in an active manner soon following. As with the other scene, there was no shortage of continual tease but the performance this time was less consistent, the POV angle not as exact at times since it seemed as if he handed over the camera to someone else. Like most of the scenes, the action was not quite as stylized as you would expect from Jay Sinn or as all out nasty as from Raul Cristian but it showed some serious potential, a titty fuck draining his balls dry for the ladies to receive their fluid reward.

Scene Four: Jennifer White and Angelica Raven, the two brunettes seen on the upper right hand corner of the front cover, were up next dressed in skank-ware outfits best suited for a third tier strip club. They felt comfortable in the attire and Mike Adriano spoke with them as they felt each other up, the ladies showing the same propensity to please each other as the previous ladies, their degree of chemistry less apparent than their desire to put on a show. The ladies rimmed each other before Mike joined them, the man savoring the taste of the youthful gals as he directed them in what he wanted out of them. They used toys like a clear speculum to spread their asses wide and moved inside for the hardcore action, the ladies sharing his cock orally before they began titty fucking him on the bed. The anal penetration showed the gals to be pushing their respective limits though, generally forcing them to allow him to do the work as they remained passive (except for their cries), each gal servicing the other as the scene permitted. Well over an hour later, Mike dropped a wad of semen on their faces for sharing, the messy semen goatees glazing their faces to close things up.

Scene Five: Ashli Orion and Charlotte Vale, the cute dup spotted on the upper left hand side of the front cover, were up last and their scene was much like those before it, the two gals showing director Mike Adriano a good time using an emphasis on oral and anal tricks. They were out by the pool wearing skimpy outfits, their thongs creeping up their ass cracks as the director tried to get as much mileage as he could from them. The tease led to lesbian footage which led to Mike jumping in with them once they were in the house, his talented tongue servicing them as well as they served his pecker. The gals were especially oral here and proved to be active anal riders as well, the amount of ATM done without being prodded to do so again well above average. There was little discernable chemistry between the cast but the ladies seemed almost like old friends teaming up on a guy to make some money, certainly not the worst impression I've had from a gonzo fuck flick. The scene ended when he tossed off a round of sperm to their faces for sharing, the gals cumswapping it playfully before the credits rolled.

Summary: Anal Overdose by director Mike Adriano for Evil Angel showed that aside from the sheer length of the movie, the director has yet to establish a style all his own, the quantity of fine ass and anal play of the movie earning it a respectable Recommended or better depending on what kind of action you like to see in such a movie. The editing needed a lot of polishing up and there was plenty of overlap in terms of what was done and how they did it, my belief that Mike could become a force if he continues to grow reasonable. In short, Anal Overdose was a fun movie with a ton of attractive ladies having a good time, the format of the scenes just a bit too limited (to anal mostly) and the technical issues enough to lower the rating a notch.
