Extras: For those that didn't see the first volume of the series, the 26:23 minute long bonus scene from Massive Facials 1 starring Bobbi Starr was the best extra. Audio/Video Quality: Massive Facials 2 was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director Mason/Sam No for Elegant Angel using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. The camera work was again solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows so the picture appeared to be in line with her other work to date. Mason has made or assisted on a number of titles over the years, the technical matters taking back seat (pun intended) to the raw energy of the sex, but her skill levels have definitely been improving with the camera too, showing she pays attention for those that care (in fact, most of her current works look almost identical to those of Nutsack). I saw no compression artifacts though there was about 4.4 Mbps video bitrate but the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the ladies and their well lit bodies. The compositions of the shots helped maximize the potential of the ladies too, rarely relying on extreme close ups all the time as some seem destined to do and the editing by Team Royson allowing her vision to remain as complete as possible. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, the grunts and groans heard well enough but the music by Mybeatshop & William H. Nutsack elevating the proceedings just fine yet again.

Body of Review: Mason/Sam No is one of the few women currently shooting in porn on her own terms, relying on her own hand and wicked imagination to capture her decadent ideas of depravity at Elegant Angel rather than rely on a bunch of other directors to do all the work for her (as virtually every other female director does these days). I prefer seeing some tease first and including penetration (vaginal and/or anal) but as far as the selection of ladies here, it was easily worth a rating of Recommended or better. In short then, Massive Facials 2 was better than Massive Facials 1 from a few years ago, the established formula of how things were handled polished up a bit more and the cast able to enjoy what they were doing in most cases so give it a look, especially if you like Kristina Rose, Lisa Ann, and Ashli Orion.
