Audio/Video Quality: Lex On Blondes 7 was presented in anamorphic widescreen at 1.78:1 as shot by director Lexington Steele for Mercenary Pictures in this MPEG-2 encoded, 480p resolution, effort. The company is not generally known for its technical expertise but there did appear to be an attempt to handle things properly here by the two videographers credited (Lex and Mario Rossi). The show appears to have been captured by a single, very fluidly moving camera (with all the tradeoffs associated with that choice), the camera itself appearing to have less resolution, especially under lower lighting circumstances, but easy enough to handle during the throes of passion, minimal POV material used but certainly not as much as the Pole Position series. The video bitrate varied substantially but when I spot checked it, the results showed to be in the 3.2 Mbps area a lot (sometimes higher, sometimes lower). The audio was presented in the standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate. The vocals were generally easily heard, the director appearing to use the microphone attached to the camera and sticking close to them, sacrificing the medium and long shots to do so but the aural qualities of the voices were okay. There was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was minimal but the emphasis was on the camera mounted audio, capturing most of the vocals reasonably well (as well as occasional background noise like sirens), some aural trickery used to extend Lex's ending yell bugging me at times.

While I don't get many of his titles throughout the year, the latest one included Lex On Blondes 7, the series having a reputation for interracial scenes with blond haired lasses. Going into the movie, I was bummed out at the relative lack of quality extras but the running time of the movie certainly helped make up for it, the picture quality on the decent side though not exceptional by any means. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Summary: Lex On Blondes 7 by director Lexington Steele for Mercenary Pictures was not his most consistently heated movie of the last few years and I doubt it will earn any awards this year but it did provide some decent replay value, fuck for the buck, and warmth for fans of interracial work, meriting a rating of Recommended or better depending on your tastes. In short then, Lex On Blondes 7 had some scenes with Lexington Steele, all scenes with blondes (natural or bleached), and plenty of interracial action to appreciate if you are interested.
