Extras: The visual style was present in the 9:54 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Octavio Arizala, the best way I can describe it was like all those failed Club Jenna flicks so many laughed at a few years back. There was an attempt to be creative in the BTS that didn't work too but ultimately, it gave a fair head's up as to what one could expect. There were then interviews with Justine Joli (1:10 minutes) and Teagan Presley (2:13 minutes), limited material provided as the ladies outlined some of what was going on. Then came a 3:04 minute photoshoot, all stills in a rapid paced slide show, four internet trailers (I've linked each of them to screen captures in this review), a photogallery, a bonus scene as described below from The Perfect Secretary with Hailey Paige, Michelle B, and Vincent Vega that lasted 9:07 minutes. There were also some trailers and spam advertisements for those that care.

Audio/Video Quality: Teagan Takes Control was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Jim Malibu for Adam & Eve to be released in this MPEG-2, 480i resolution offering. Unlike most of his features, Jim tried that wildly varying stylish look some of his peers have also failed with, the end result being limited in terms of visual appeal. There was some grain and minor mosquito noise, the lighting used to invoke a mood more than look like a standard porno, the MTV touches added in looking better than some of Teagan's works from last year but only marginally. The usual camera work by Ralph Parfait and Matt Holder has never been my favorite approach, this selection of scenes certainly no different in that regard. The slightly soft focus (at times) did not bother me much though the video bitrate hovered around 4.1 Mbps did not seem to help enhance the looks of the ladies much given the dedication to style over substance. The skin tones were off in that respect but the action clear to see, making it a better looking show than some of the past efforts by the company, the lighting providing enough texture for the cast to see them clearly despite some of the effects deployed. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English stereo, the 224 Kbps audio bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate generic as could be. The moody background music in some portions of the movie was well done though the vocals seemed cookie cutter basic with no separation (the dynamic range minimal).

Body of Review: Jim Malibu has directed a number of fluff titles for Adam & Eve in recent times, much of his work seemingly trying to invoke a stylish set of visual effects that a great many folks find lame. This is not to say they can't work in moderate use but once again he applies them all too casually in Teagan Takes Control. The idea of the movie is to explore various role playing scenarios in the hopes that their fetish labels will find an appreciative crowd, the mere handing over of control to another rarely as uncomplicated as displayed in the five scenes. While labeled as if Teagan Presley were going to be in the entire movie as well as dominate anyone in a believable fashion, she only had two lesbian scenes and Justine Joli took complete control of her initially. When Teagan worked with India Summers at the end of the flick, she was again dominated by a masculine partner (fake mustache and all), her comfort level in both scenes striking me as on the low end altogether. For some spank bank material though, Teagan's purple latex outfit on the front cover and Nika Noire's black mesh body stocking definitely had some appeal, just not enough to save what amounted to a vanilla movie trying to sell a bill of goods it just couldn't deliver. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Teagan Presley, the beautiful young lady featured on the front cover, was up first in her purple latex body suit as domineering Justine Joli strapped her into a sex swing hanging from the ceiling. There was some slightly rougher stuff like choking that blindly upsets a few people out there but other than the usual dildo insertions stretching pussies, it was a paint by the mechanical numbers type of lesbian pairing where no limits were even approached, much less pushed past.

Scene Two: Emy Reyes, a Latina wearing black lingerie, was up next on a concrete bench beside a totem pole, Alan Stafford, establishing a safe word before she began masturbating as she sucked his finger. Scene Four: Darcy Tyler, a tall blond wearing a red & black outfit, was up next as she described what she hoped for in a scene with lower tier mope Joey Brass, the diminutive fellow placing her in a seated swing so he could tickle her with a red feather. The opening montage was especially busy and obnoxious, the relatively barren brick warehouse setting matching her outfit to a degree. She wore a blindfold too, albeit a more stylish one, and he fingered her once the tickling had no effect, the guy going down on her before she reciprocated. It was evident that she had some experience sucking many cocks but this was just an attempt to get the job done, leading to a few positions of vaginal penetration where neither of them appeared to be overly enthusiastic about each other. They had moved to a nearby couch for most of the penetrative positions and it ended when he rubbed out a load of spunk to her face, the sheer boredom seen on her face saying it all.

Scene Five: India Summer, a brunette gal dressed up as a man at a bar, was up last with hotty Teagan Presley. Teagan had on that wonderfully sexy purple latex outfit, the two retiring to a bedroom where Teagan gave the slightest of attempts to show she was at least partially in charge, pulling down India's pants to reveal a clear strap on dildo that she then sucked. The fake mustache on India was goofy and stayed on far too long, Teagan showing she had not completely lost her oral skills as a result of sticking with women on camera for so long. India caressed her and then started pounding her pussy, Teagan going over the top as the still clothed India went to work. There was taste testing and India eventually went down on Teagan, then receiving both vaginal and anal penetration as a reward for her services. The jumpy editing and camera work certainly weakened the scene Teagan in control seemed to be more like India was subbing from the top at very best.

Bonus Scene: The Perfect Secretary: Michelle B., everyone's favorite British blonde, and cute lead performer Haley Paige, were up first in a scene with Vincent Vega in the office. Michelle took lead of the sexuality in that she partnered up with him as Haley masturbated off to the side. Michelle's oral skills have long been accepted as top notch and she even gave a titty fuck but that was all she did; a shame since she is considered one of the best lays in porn. Her dirty mouth helped give the scene a bit of passion but that was all there was going on here.

Summary: Teagan Takes Control by director Jim Malibu for Adam & Eve was not the worst attempt to liven up some otherwise vanilla takes on BDSM and role playing that I've seen but it was so far from a movie I would advise most people to pick up that at very best, I would rate it as a midweek Rent It, and only then if you truly adore hotty Teagan Presley. Yes, she has done better in the past and I have been given every indication that her upcoming big flick of the year is poised to showcase her much, much better, but considering how strong she was in the past, I guess I expected a whole lot more from any scenes she was in. The movie was less of a showcase for Teagan than I was led to believe too, most of the other scenes lacking substantially in replay value. In short, Teagan Takes Control had Teagan Presley wearing a super sexy later outfit as seen on the front cover but she was rarely displayed as being in her prime so take all advertisements and glowing reviews (if anyone is bold enough to sell out so thoroughly) with a pillar of salt.
