Extras: This was another one of the big titles of the year for the company so it got the double disc treatment, starting off the second disc with a 77:57 minute long "party version" of the movie. This was kind of cool, though an explanation as to the difference between the regular version would have been nice. That was followed by 41:29 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Ralph Long that included some comments by the cast telling of their roles was well handled. There was an unrelated bonus scene between Diamond Foxxx and Billy Glide in a scene from "Cheating Wives Tales 14" as well, lasting 25:08 minutes. Then came a pop shot recap, 4:51 minutes of outtakes & bloopers, a bunch of sitcum trailers, spam, and an iPod compatible version of the movie on DVD Rom. In all, it was a great selection of extras, most of them related too.

Audio/Video Quality: Sex & The City The Original XXX Parody was presented in a sharp looking 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen picture as shot by director Lee Roy Myers for New Sensations using the MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. The movie took fewer liberties than some of the director's works of the recent past, the tone set in the original volume, the cast showing more comfort in their approach this time as written by Bensen Herst and Lee Roy Myers. There were few compression artifacts and the video bitrate seemed to hover around the 5.2 Mbps, the fluid camerawork closer to the technical attributes of the original. The editing by M. Burger enhanced the final product and it compared nicely to some of Myers most recent efforts, ensuring fans of the genre should be pleased.. The company logo was always present in the lower right hand corner with a light watermark this time so those of that wrote me about the issue can rest at ease. The SD audio was presented in a standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, no separation between the channels, a limited dynamic range, and music from the DeWolfe Library working well throughout the show. In all then, the show was a good send-up to a popular television show, the technical aspects enhanced to improve the creative material used to inspire your self-love habits as well as the replay value. The theme song was the best of the batch and sounded similar to the original too, a nice touch.

Body of Review: Lee Roy Myers has been one of the most successful directors of porn parodies in the last few years thanks in large part to his efforts at New Sensations. With the AVN awards deadline looming, I expected to find a number of appealing parodies coming out, his latest being Sex & The City The Original XXX Parody. The HBO series spawned two movies and while I've seen a few episodes, I am far from an expert on the original show so I called in the expert (Nadine, better known as my toy testing bed buddy) for her advice. In general, the original is all about a group of four stereotypical women living in New York City trying to find romance (or just sex) so pornifying it offers up unique problems, maintaining the same kind of feel without going too far over the top being the best route to go. In this case, Kayla Paige played the lead as she tried to decide between her three friends and chasing the man of her dreams to a whole new city, a number of clever nods to the show made according to Nadine. The back cover described the movie like this: "Carrie (Kayla Paige) finds herself in a precarious position when Mr. Big (Evan Stone) receives a job offer in Los Angeles. Carrie is devastated by the news until Big springs the idea on her to move out to the Left Coast with him. Torn between her desire to marry Big and to stay loyal to her best friends, Samantha (Brittany Andrews), Miranda (Zoe Voss) Charlotte (Bobbi Starr), Carrie decides to follow her heart and leave behind her girls for the man of her dreams. Or does she? The girls are not about to let a little problem like falling in love get in the way of their dependency on Carrie's advice, both inside and outside the bedroom, so they hatch a plan to show Carrie just how much they need her. Of course, the girls are up to their necks in their own sexual issues, whether it's Miranda's itch to bring a girl into a 3-way tryst, Charlotte's newfound nymphomania, or Samantha's plundering of her next door neighbor. With plenty of surprises and sexual adventure, the time has come for these sexy, four best friends to bond in a way that they never have before." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that only one condoms was used for those still interested:

Scene One: Kayla Paige, the curvy young lady featured on the center of the front cover in the revealing blue dress, was up first with the mighty Evan Stone, both playing their roles as Carrie and Mr. Big to the hilt. Kayla looked like a younger Sarah Jessica Parker and that helped too, the dialogue reasonably suited for such a version. Evan hit her with the news and after she whined about the details (a common occurrence on the original show), they jumped each other in bed. He caressed her lightly as she started removing her light purple dress, Evan going down on her after warming her up with his hand. He vaginally banged her in a few positions until it was time for her to aggressively slob his knob, her eye contact elevating their respective chemistry nicely as she worked the pipe with care. Kayla was much more active a rider when on top of him but she looked good in doggy too, her loud grunting striking me as something I'd expect of the character given the amount of fussing she does about everything else in the show. It ended when she blew him to completion using her hand to increase the friction, his genetic juice landing all over his lap.

Scene Two: Bobbi Starr, the sexy brunette seen on the far left side of the cover, was up next as she jumped Ralph Long in bed, Nadine telling me that she was the most like her character of anyone in this porn version. She was wearing colorful lingerie and purple panties, their kissing leading to Bobbi blowing him with some extreme talent. While he seemed like a third tier mope, the couple seemed to strike it off nicely, Bobbi sticking her sweet ass in the air as she continued to blow him, taking some breaks to kiss the guy and let him finger her before she actively rode him vaginally. That led to some equally impressive anal antics after he snacked on her crack, Bobbi doing some ATM intermittently as she appeared to get off to the throbbing member hammering away at her back door. Soon afterwards, he rubbed out a nut of population pudding all over her thigh and ass.

The Extras

Scene Three: Coco Velvett, Zoe Voss, and Tommy Pistol were up next in a scene where Coco did her best Fran Drescher impersonation as a newcomer to their otherwise boring sex lives. Zoe was Miranda, her boyfriend said to have added some of the most realistic touches to his portrayal of a character in the entire movie (several small things per Nadine). The ladies kissed and this excited him, Zoe ( the redhead on the front cover) getting into it as they all moved to the couch where the trio felt each other up and pulled off clothing like crazy. The scene included a lot of lesbian action but was also shot with a lot more close up footage than most of the other scenes in the director's movies, adding something beyond the apparent chemistry in terms of mixing things up a bit. Their hands pawed at each other, they all went down on each other, the ladies culminating this expansive oral into a team effort on his pecker. The vaginal plowing was a mix of active and passive positions too, Zoe more active but Coco gyrating her hips better. There was some taste testing too, the ladies sharing his wad of spunk as they knelt before him during his rubbed out orgasm.

Scene Four: Brittany Andrews, the older blond on the far right side of the cover, was up next as she played Charlotte (Kim Cattrall's horned up character from the series). She walked in on her boyfriend cheating on her, an exchange of expletives with hotty Avy Scott sadly not ending in a bone-fest with the gal, the gal picking up moper Danny Mountain instead. The dialogue was amusing enough and it seemed in character, the sex scene including the only condom used in the entire movie. She pushed him back on the red couch and prepared him for her cougar ways (aka: saber toothed tiger ways per Avy moments before), some kissing leading to her admiration of his "beautiful" cock that she sucked very hard before he started vaginally banging her. She did most of the work when she was on top of him, his finger feeling up her ass for the later anal that took place. While lacking the chemistry most of the previous scenes had, it was still a decent nod to Brittany's skills, the scene enough to make her fans happy for awhile given her limited work of late. The scene ended with him jerking off to her tits, the semen glazing them well enough to meet her needs.

Scene Five: Zoe Voss, Kayla Paige, Brittany Andrews, and Bobbi Starr were up last in a lesbian tryst that included several toys, a lot of touching, kissing, eating out, and penetration with taste testing. There was a lot of chemistry in this scene as well, the initial pairing off not limiting who worked with each other, some heated titty play and rimming adding something along the way. While this scene was the biggest departure from the series (most of the characters abhorred lesbian action), it made sense in a pornified parody like this.

Summary: Sex & The City The Original XXX Parody by director Lee Roy Myers for New Sensations was sexually sound, paid decent homage to the original show in a believable manner, and some of the casting & dialogue was well above average according to my resident expert. There was solid replay value and chemistry on hand, the stroke value seriously better than the original show so I rated it as a tentative Highly Recommended. In short, there was a lot of factors that could have blown it for Sex & The City The Original XXX Parody as a porn flick but it worked for me as a porno and Nadine as a nod to a favorite show, this best of both worlds approach welcome compared to the many halfhearted parodies on the market today. If there had been more establishing shots and some budgeted settings outside of houses, it might have worked even better but there was no doubt that it was one of the best sitcum parodies of the year for the ladies.
