Packaging: Normally I don't comment on a DVD's packaging, but this release comes in a very unique plastic case. Half the width of standard DVD cases, this two disc set comes bundled nicely in a clear plastic package. While it is very nice, it may look a little out of place when on the shelf with your other titles.

Audio/Video Quality: This is the first chance I've had to watch a 1st strike release and overall the video quality is merely adequate. Shot in the standard full frame format, the print has only the smallest instances of edge enhancement and pixilation - and when there were it was hardly noticeable. The color, however, was a different story. Overall the video was a bit too dark for my likes, and occasionally certain colors appeared blurry and out of focus. There were small instances of shadows but they were kept at bay by the use of artificial lighting. The audio is your standard 2.0 stereo and it sounded fine with decent separation. A decent effort by 1st Strike but with a little more work it could have looked much much better

Disc 1 - The Black Disc

Special Features: The first disc doesn't provide any quality extras. All you get in a few Pulse trailers, and two sets of photo galleries.
