Audio/Video Quality: The Art of Anal was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Danny Case for Third Degree Films using the MPEG-2 codec for the standard definition release (using a standard 480 resolution). The lighting was usually optimal and it generally limited the grain, video noise, and shadows other productions seem unable to get rid of far too often; the crotches again not as consistently well lit as they should have been. The composition of the shots weren't always completely flattering to the ladies but at least there was rarely any doubt about what was going on and where it was going; given the quality of the cast, this made it more enjoyable too. The fleshtones were generally accurate and the bitrate hovered in the mid 4.3 Mbps area so it did not look bad but aside from the light haze here, it was again okay. There were no compression artifacts and the visuals were generally handled pretty well here. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate of most productions. The music was generic but the vocals; while plain as could be, could be heard in almost all cases; only slightly hollow at times when the ladies were making it clear their limits were being pushed.

The most recent of these making it my way for review is called The Art of Anal, a set of five scenes of anal action focusing on a first rate cast of ladies such as Bobbi Starr, Courtney Cummz, Danica Dillan, Aurora Snow, and Francesca Le. With a series of headliners like that, I was pretty sure it was going to be a winner, Danny's technical handling of the movie likely to be done well enough to satisfy those who appreciate proper lighting and camera work. The company website described the movie like this: "Get ready for ass-tounding performances of butt punishing proportions! These gorgeous sphincter stretching babes want to show you the art of anal as only the finest cheek-spreading whores in XXX can! Give your creative side a try, grab some handfuls of heine and give those gaping holes a proper pounding! It really doesn't get much better than this!" Summary: The Art of Anal by director Danny Case for Third Degree Films started off with a great deal of potential given the female casting by so much of it was paint by the numbers that I felt like it missed the mark. The trysts were far from the best each gal had to offer so even though there was some modest strokability, the replay value suffered as a result, meriting a rating of Rent It unless you are a complete fanboy for one or more of the cast. In short, The Art of Anal showed no artistic bent to it and the sexual engagements offered up all included anal but the barebones kind of back door action that just doesn't compete well with the best titles on the market so check this one out before buying if at all possible.
