Extras: The extra most will care about is the bonus scene from "Love Life" starring Lacey Love, Lyndsey Love, and James Deen lasting 34:14 minutes (that told people how to shower). It appeared uncut and fans of the Love twins will probably appreciate more than the rest of the world. There was a 22:31 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Ralph Long, some trailers, a photogallery, and spam filling out the extras here and yes, there were position menu breakdowns on the chapter menu).

Audio/Video Quality: Introducing the Russo Twins was presented in a 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480 resolution for this DVD. The flick was shot in 1080i/60 high definition awhile back, though presented in the SD format in a short feature playing off his skills best. The lighting was well handled and this added to the pleasure of watching the gals in play as the lengthy scenes gave them enough freedom to explore their sexuality. The composition of the camera angles was almost always optimal this time, Skow seeing fit to try and enhance the look of the ladies at every turn as possible, the minor grain not bothering me nearly as much as it could have in less capable hands. The fleshtones were accurate too and the DVD mastering was well done (the bitrate hovering around 4.2 Mbps), even if the lighting was off at times (the company watermark will be bothersome to some out there but only some given its location). The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 256 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent. The aural qualities of the movie appeared to offer some separation and increased dynamic range, the vocals easily heard in most cases and mixed in with the ambient noises as well as music fairly well.

Body of Review: B. Skow has been the lead director for Vivid Entertainment for awhile now, his technical prowess in the gonzo field appreciated by those who always found arty-farty features too pretentious to appreciate. His latest project was shot this summer, a showcase movie called Introducing the Russo Twins. The two ladies are identical twins with (thankfully) distinguishing tattoos, Taylor Russo (tattoo on her right shoulder) and Tati Russo (tattoo on her left breast among other places). Their pretty blue eyes, lean white bodies, and pretty smiles separate them from past attempts to cash in on fans of identical twins (such as the creepy Love twins), Vivid bringing their first scenes together in this five scene fuck flick. While the ladies do not do each other, they are engaged with partners on the screen at the same time, from a lesbian scene to a couple of male dominated scenes where the ladies either shared a meat puppet (Johnny Sins) or went with an orgy format (using Barry Scott and Jerry as the mopes); each getting a single scene to showcase their own talents as well.

Skow for Vivid Entertainment was a nice introductory piece for the Russo twins, each getting a lot of screen time and showing they were not all polished like seasoned performers so I rated it as a light Recommended. The replay value and strokability for most viewers will be determined by how much you are into identical twins doing porn but they were a decided upgrade from the last set that Vivid offered the world. In short then, Introducing the Russo Twins should appeal to the whole identical twin fantasy and despite the advertising about their Russian heritage, they spoke fine English so they weren't just the latest disposable performers from the Eastern bloc. Skow handled their limitations exceptionally well and even if some aspects of the production seemed rushed, the simplicity of the five scenes worked in their favor so check it out.
