Audio/Video Quality: The Bombshells was presented in a crisp 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director William H. Nutsack for Elegant Angel using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480p resolution. The camera work was solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows and the picture appeared to be crisp this time. Nutsack has proven himself time and again as to being able to provide the best looking porn regardless of format, his technical expertise lying in keeping it simple rather than using fancy camera systems only to use gels and filters to fuck up the results as others do. I saw no compression artifacts the video bitrate clocking in around 2.9 Mbps video bitrate; modest enough for a SD flick but better than many on the market these days and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the female performers as most of her work these days tends to do. The editing by Robert Laplanc was pretty sweet too, no major errors noticed which is surprising given how many of the competition have recently dropped the ball in this area. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, plenty of room considering how little took place on it but leaving room for future efforts too.

Body of Review: Elegant Angel has not always been one of my top gonzo production companies but in recent times they managed to win me over by applying some very basic approaches to proper technical aspects, solid casting of top babes, and working to make the best smut available thanks in no small part to directors like William H. Nutsack. His latest work available to me is a curious little offering called The Bombshells, each of the ladies from the five scenes considered high end talent by a whole lot of folks. Let's face it, with Bree Olson fresh out of her contract, Kristina Rose bending over her bodacious booty, curvy Madison Ivy getting into her work, Gracie Glam going all out, and Andy San Dimas again trying to show fans she is a major fuck bunny, you'd have to be crazy to think this wasn't designed to impress. Nutsack wisely provides a lot of tease, perfect locations and lets the babes run wild too, essentially doing what they do best while he captures it all on camera. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
