Audio/Video Quality: Anal Inferno was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Adriano for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The scenes were all shot with basic lighting to eliminate any shadows, texture, or hints of color variations. The set up was simple with the basic tease, then Mike would join in for various forms of intercourse (a strong emphasis on anal too), all in some form of point of view fashion. The grain was minimal as was the video noise, the director trying to provide a basic porn experience here rather than cultivate favorable press by use of silly special effects. It was far from perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual, fans of well rounded women certain to appreciate it. The bitrate tended to hover around the 4.6 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard, the basic editing not really doing much with the footage that I could see but then I don't have access to the raw footage to make a definitive statement. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with. There wasn’t much to talk about aurally speaking though, the tease portion of the scenes employed music but the rest of the show was fairly easy to hear the vocals even if it sounded like a home camera shot them.

Summary: Anal Inferno by director Mike Adriano for Evil Angel was not as polished a movie as some of his other recent work but the raw energy and enthusiasm were plentiful, the strokability assured, and the casting providing a solid selection of attractive women earning their keep so I rated it as Highly Recommended. Mike brings a devotion to ass that few of his peers still possess in their scenes, his personal undertaking to get all the ladies off if at all possible helping to make this a winner. In short, Anal Inferno: Special Set was exactly what a fan might expect of the director, a double disc extravaganza full of anal antics, POV photography (but not a slave to it, hence the “POV+” label on the front cover), gals with shapely asses willing to engage in all sorts of depraved circus act sex. Asa Akira, Jynx Maze, Tori Lux, and several others proving to be as nasty (and sexually heated) as their reputations. That the scenes were all new, all depraved, and all highlighting some seriously kinky anal action was the icing on the cake but fans have come to expect all of this from the director so give it a look if you are into this kind of thing.
