The Movie:

The third entry in 3rd Degree’s Girlfriends series isn’t all that unique, in fact, it sticks to a tried and true formula, but it does what it does well and while there aren’t any storylines or plots here to talk about, there’s plenty of lipstick lesbian action presented in full on hardcore fashion. So without further ado…

Scene One – Tanya Tate & Nina Mercedez: Our first scene is set in an office where the two girls are working together. They decide they’d rather fool around with one another than fool around with computers and stuff and before you know it, dark haired Nina is sucking blonde Tanya’s tits. Tanya’s pretty generous though and so she shows her appreciation by spreading Nina’s legs and eating her out. Scene Five – Alexis Texas, Chanel Preston, Brooklyn Lee & Madelyn Marie: Last but not least it’s a lipstick lesbian orgy starring bootie queen Alexis Texas, up and comer Chanel Preston and a couple of other notable hotties in the form of Brooklyn Lee and Madelyn Marie – but I’ve you’ve read this far you already know who is in the scene and I’m doing you a disservice by repeating myself. What happens here? Well, the girls are all hanging out in some sort of Coyote Ugly style saloon with a piano and a drum kit in the background, passing around some sex toys and commenting on the. I know for a fact this is the type of thing hot girls do when guys are no around – it just stands to reason. At any rate, they figure why not give the new toys some test drives and that’s basically what happens for the next half an hour. It takes them a few minutes to get there but soon enough pants and shorts are off, legs are spread and pussies are being eaten. Faces are sat upon and vaginal lips are spread wide by latex and rubber devices, the likes of which you won’t find on the shelf at your local sporting goods store. Girlfriends 3 is a shot on digital video production which looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes as well as some distracting interlacing occurring throughout playback. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (though some of the camera work in a couple of spots is quite shaky), and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit, comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

Extras start off with a Behind The Scenes segment that runs just over twenty-one minute and includes some on set interviews with each of the girls, most of whom appear here in various states of undress and are involved in softcore and hardcore fun together. There’s not much context to it, but it’s moderately amusing and occasionally sexy. Aside from that, look for trailers for a few other 3rd Degree releases, a still gallery, menus and scene selection.

Final Thoughts:

Girlfriends 3 offers pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a lipstick lesbian feature like this – girl on girl action handled with style and aplomb by some very willing and attractive participants. It adds absolutely nothing new to the equation and isn’t the most original feature you’re ever going to see, but if you like to see girls get down with one another, it’ll do the trick and it’s recommended for that reason.
