Audio/Video Quality: Phat Bottom Girls 5 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Manuel focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Manuel's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing was decent, if a little rushed, and the minor quirks on the technical side did not deter me from enjoying the scenes most of the time. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 4.2 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is one of the nicest porn directors, his work in front of the camera typically enough to drive women wild as seen from personal experience. As a director distributed by Evil Angel, Manuel provides the basics of heated sex, passionate ladies, and his ever present amounts of chemistry that few of his peers can offer these days. His latest release making it my way for review is called Phat Bottom Girls 5, the title emphasizing a wild host of babes into hardcore action. The notables here included Gracie Glam, Inari Vachs, Liza Del Sierra, and Holly Michaels, Gracie certainly earning her front cover status given her meteoric rise to fame over the last year or so. While I would have preferred a double disc treatment like previous volumes in the series, Manuel made sure to pack a lot of punch in the scenes, the tease and chemistry enhancing the action substantially once again.

Manuel Ferrara joined her in the white bedroom, Inari massaging and dry humping him until they both gave each other some great head (in a 69 position). This inevitably led to some of the best boning of the movie, Inari actively impaling herself on his pecker with some taste testing worthy of her impeccable reputation. I half expected her to toss his salad when he was prone and while I did not care if she did anal, she was sure positioned for it, Inari’s eye contact when he tossed off the big load of spunk such that her post coital head had all the more meaning.

Scene Four: Holly Michaels, the fetching young lady seen on the upper left hand corner of the front cover (at about the 10 o’clock position), was up last as she teased outside in her skimpy blue jean shorts. The way they rode up her snatch and sweet ass was great, her suspenders pulled back to reveal some major nipple erections. While her ass was not as technically suited for the movie as the rest of the ladies in the cast in terms of size, she made up for it somewhat thanks to her aggressive moves and polished tease. Charles Dera was the lucky guy getting to give her the hot beef injection, his hand warming her up rather than his tongue before she quickly blew him and started pushing back on his rod during the vaginal positions. She gave some taste testing head in between positions but she had little to work with in terms of chemistry, his moper status not overridden by his looks as my girlfriend saw it. Summary: Phat Bottom Girls 5 by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel had about two and a half hours of footage, the director offering the kind of passion & chemistry expected so I rated it as Recommended or better. Manuel is pretty decent as a director in the gonzo realm but his biggest strength will probably always be his own sexual abilities and chemistry with the ladies, all four scenes worthy of his status (though few would argue the other males lived up to Manuel’s prowess with the ladies). Don’t get me wrong, all four women were strokable and worthy of milking the nuts of any straight guy out there (yes, I’d fuck any of them for every pump I could muster, probably two) but the only scenes that truly stood out as exceptional were the ones with Inari and Gracie; Manuel’s strength with them substantially better than the other two). In short, Phat Bottom Girls 5 was just a single disc release but still well worth your time, money, and seed if you want some of the best sexual trysts available containing hotties like Gracie Glam, Inari Vachs, and Holly Michaels so check it out.
