Overview:  The Masseuse 4 features the likes of Riley Steele, Monique Alexander, Jessica Bangkok, and Charley Chase.  The Digital Playground series is in its fourth installment and billed as “the final rubdown”.  The couple friendly flick caters to the fantasy of sensual rubdowns that ultimately lead to happy endings.  Unfortunately, the last two installments have received sub-par ratings from my fellow reviewers.  However, with a fresh crop of ladies, perhaps Robby D. can wrap things up strongly in the final installment, which was penned by Kay Brandy.  DP has also provided us with this synopsis:

The beautiful Riley Steele is back, haunting her ex-lover, James, and inviting his naughty heavy-handed massage studs in to service her sexual demands. It’s a wild party of sensual rubdowns, servicing one beautiful, hungry woman after another. James delivers from the hip, outperforming for his demanding, perverted and hungry clients as his sexy skills continue to grow bigger and bigger.

Our first scene quickly gets underway with Jessica Bangkok in the middle of some action with Eric Masterson. The scene is heavy on the foreplay and has us begging to see Jessica get stuffed.  However, it’s Eric who takes his time eating out Ms. Bangkok, and ultimately returns the favor while Eric plays with Jessica’s backside. Eric begins to lay his pipe with some missionary action and gives Jessica long, deep strokes. Unfortunately, the action remains stagnant with only two positions and doesn’t have the payoff we were expecting. Eric finishes the scene by giving Jessica a facial.

Erik Everhard, a weeklong professional masseuse comes to visit Charley Chase for a rubdown.  However, plans are sideswiped as Charley’s boyfriend unexpectedly shows up.  Charles Dera turns out to be Charley’s toy for the day and two immediately get to work.  The two begin some passionate foreplay, with Charley not only providing her chest for some titty fucking, but also a wet and sloppy blowjob.  Charley and Charles share chemistry together, which in turn creates one hot scene.  The sex between the two is powerful and intense, which is everything the previous scene missed.  The scene continues to heat up as Charley rides reverse cowgirl and shows off her natural rack and curvy figure.  The scene wraps up with the spoon position and a facial for Charley.

Erik Everhard and Riley Steele reconnect after lusting over a previous encounter.  Erik has some hesitation as Riley happens to be James Deen’s girl. The two don’t seem to mind and begin going at it, until James walks in and catches the two.  Scott being the good friend leaves and the two are left alone.  James begins working his tongue on Riley and eating her out before piping her missionary.  James brings his signature rough sex and light slapping and has no trouble doing most of the work.  Before the scene concludes, Riley performs some oral action and rides reverse cowgirl before getting a facial from James.

Our fourth scene begins with Scott Nails giving Monique Alexander a slippery rubdown.  Scott follows it up with some light fingering and oral action before fucking Monique missionary.  The action is fast and moves swiftly with Monique performing some head before getting fucked doggy.  Scott does a good job of delivering a scene, but Monique does little to bring anything to the table and we quickly lose interest.  The scene wraps with a facial on to Monique.

The final scene has us sitting with Erik and Scott as the two begin fantasizing of fucking Riley. Fortunately, their fantasy is happening in real time with Riley pleasure both of them.  The threesome quickly gets started with Erik fucking Riley doggystyle and Scott receiving oral action.  The three-way moves quickly as Erik and Scott take advantage of Riley and fill both her holes.  The action is not only well shot, but is great smut as all three actors perform well together.  Typically, threesomes don’t work well because one person is left out, but Scott and Erik are seasoned pros and make the scene shine with Riley.  The three-way finishes up with a facial from Erik first, then a facial from Scott.

Special Features:  Director Robby D. gives us the usual DP set of extras including a behind the scenes feature, a gallery, fourteen additional Digital Playground trailers, and company contact information.  The trailers are useful for those wanting to explore other titles from the DP catalog without having to go online. The BTS footage is presented in 1080p HD and clocks in at thirteen minutes or so.  The footage consists of downtime with the actors and production crew and will be entertaining for those who enjoyed the flick.

Audio/Video Quality:  Audio is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround with all of the audio being centered on the front three channels.  Audio was exceptional as always and never suffered from any artifacts or inconsistencies.  Digital Playground is known for their amazing visuals and The Masseuse 4 continues the reputation we all know.  Robby D. presents The Masseuse 4 in 1.78:1 aspect ratio at full 1080p resolution utilizing the AVC-1 codec.  Video quality was impressive and lifelike, but had a few instances of looking a little soft at certain angles, but nothing too distracting.

Final Thoughts:  The Masseuse 4 by Robby D. for Digital Playground was not the studios strongest effort.  The feature had a total of five scenes, with two being disappointing and ultimately affecting my overall recommendation.  The storyline was entertaining and gives couples something to look forward to rather than five straight wall-to-wall sex scenes.  Unfortunately, a director can never anticipate what to expect from his performers.  As a result, we have a solid production, great videography, and three solid scenes from three sexy women, which all boils down to a solid recommended rating.  Recommended
