Extras: As is currently the case, the best “extra” is actually the second version of the movie in either DVD or Blu-ray depending on how you look at it. This might encourage slow adopters to pick up a high definition player or allow for the rest of us to lend a copy out in standard definition, a nice touch even if the upgraded package does add to the cost (which varies considerably depending on who you buy from). Otherwise, the standard package of extras applies here including the photogallery, trailers, and a 8:58 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. Jamall Johnson was working the camera and added some occasional humor but it was largely a straightforward look at the cast getting ready for their scenes or the aftermath of them, adding some minor value for anyone other than archivists like myself. The box cover also had the scannable QR technology to allow properly equipped folks to see the trailer without clicking on the links to this review, the box including a catalog for the company toys some have found appealing.

Audio/Video Quality: Payment was presented in anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by talented director Robby D. for Digital Playgroundin the standard definition version, the high definition Blu-ray version looking better due to the added resolution provided by the high definition format. The composition of the scenes favored the ladies as well as close up camera angles, the fluidity of the camera work in question but the editing by Nick P. showing his usual devotion to polishing up the end product. The audio for the standard definition was 5.1 Dolby Digital using a 48 kHz sampling rate and 448 Kbps aural bitrate, the separation between the channels coming from the music and ambient sounds more than the vocals. Still, the vocals were clearly understood in almost all cases and the music appropriate to a couples porno for those that care about the details.

Body of Review: Robby D. is known as the tour de force director of most titles by Digital Playground, his directing skills on all sorts of shows proving this contention. His latest release is called Payment, a showcase piece for beautiful Kayden Kross in the company’s feature-lite format that emphasizes the sex more than any prolonged dialogue or script. As a long time believer that Kayden is one of the most physically attractive ladies in the entire industry, I was happy to take a look at this one when asked, the results showing that even in smaller budget titles the blond bombshell can really shine. The back cover describes the movie like this: “Gorgeous tease, Kayden Kross, is a restless and horny lady, satisfying her sexual needs beyond what her handsome husband, Marcus London, can handle by hiring hot studs like Manuel Ferrara to come and pleasure her when she's alone. Marcus has his own naughty needs, hiring beautiful chicks to service his lunchtime erections. Sizzling Vicki Chase, Kayden's delicious next door whore is suspicious of all the well hung dudes coming in and out of her house and confronts her at a dinner party, uninvited. She gets drilled for her curiosity by thick member, James Deen. Scene One: Kayden Kross, the attractive blond featured on the center of the front cover, was up first with studly Manuel Ferrara on a bed. She portrayed a housewife that just didn’t get enough so she went for some extracurricular sex on the side with quality guys like him. Her blue jean skirt and white top gave a nice hint of what was to come, Manuel all over her body as he yanked her clothing off aggressively. He ate her out front and back, the smile on her face indicative of having a physically good time. She reciprocated with a hand assisted hummer, actively slobbing his knob as though driven with passion. The camera annoyingly focused on close up footage most of the time, Manuel driving things to the next level by choking her and pounding deep inside her pussy (often shown in a non-explicit manner). Scene Two: Charley Chase, a curvy brunette that always adds something positive to a show, was up next as a sexy secretary in need of seed from Erik Everhard. The chemistry was light but she looked good all the same, I just wish it lasted longer.

Scene Three: Madison Ivy, a curvy blond with brilliant blue eyes, was up next in the nearby office with Marcus London. He played with her boobs and the close up problem came back in spades, the actively riding gal blessing the audience with a few wide shots as well as they gave a better perspective of how appealing she was. The scene ended in standard fashion with her kneeling before him and taking the nut of population pudding, a quick edit resulting in the next bit of dialogue propelling the feature along (with a cameo by Faye Reagan).

Scene Four: Vicki Chase, a sultry Latina with some nice curves, was up next on the couch with James Deen, her modest tits a bit less inviting than some of the other ladies but tasty looking all the same. They were into one another from the beginning and his hands probed her at length, feeding her some of her own juices before he really went down on her in earnest. He hammered away at her pussy from that point, her oral and active riding in the vaginal tryst showing some modicum of wanting to scratch an itch as best she was able. He unloaded into her mouth and she kept him blowing a wad of splooge too, the scene a bit out of place on a few levels but appreciated all the same.

Scene Five: Kayden Kross, up last in a colorful dress, was on the couch with Marcus London when she lowered her head to blow him. This was a slower, more seductive hummer and she went over the top in her appreciation of him going down on her, the vaginal penetration positions certainly the weakest in the movie. It seemed almost as if the scene proved the point of her cheating on him, his small round of spew landing on her crotch as she seemed to laugh at him rather than with him.

Summary: Payment by director Robby D. for Digital Playground starred lovely Kayden Kross and her two scenes displayed a decent range of sexual action for this type of fuck flick. Also of note was Madison Ivy going all out on Marcus London and Charley Chase proving she was up to handling Erik Everhard but the sex was always well within the confines of what one would call “couples porn” so don’t expect any breakthrough performances here. The feature elements and script were very limited too but the main reason why anyone would want this kind of title would be for the ladies, Kayden looking very comfortable indeed in her role of a sexually frustrated housewife needing a little something extra on the side to satisfy her desires so I rated this as a Rent It for anyone other than a diehard fan of this level of porn or Kayden. In short, Payment will be a nice fix for those wanting to admire and obsess about Kayden Kross’ physical appeal, at least until something better comes along, but the chemistry and amount of fuck for the buck was hardly the best one would expect from the company given some of its blockbuster titles of recent years so give it a look if this sounds like what you’re looking for.
