Overview:  I recently had the chance to review Digital Playground’s Nude Content, starring Raven Alexis, who also happens to be the main DP girl in 2 of a Kind.  It was during my thorough review of Nude Content that I noticed the title was produced over a year and half ago.  As I began to look through 2 of a Kind, I noticed it was produced a month after Nude Content.  It’s interesting that Digital Playground has been stockpiling features and taking this long to release them.  It makes you wonder why they let these titles sit in their film catalog for so long.  Nevertheless, 2 of a Kind is a Robb D. “matchup” starring Raven Alexis, Alexis Texas, Sara Stone, and Monique Alexander.  Digital Playground provides us with this synopsis:

Special Features:  Digital Playground provides their standard set of extras, which include a behind the scenes feature, a photo gallery, 14 trailers, and company contact information.  The BTS footage is about 12 minutes and captures the cast and crew on the day of shoot.  DP includes the same 14 trailers that have been on every DVD and Blu-ray release for the last year.  Lastly, a photo gallery and company contact info are also provided.

Audio/Video Quality:  Audio is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround with the front three channels getting most of the work.  Audio was flawless and never utilized any of the surround channels.  Director Robby D. presents 2 of a Kind in 1.78:1 aspect ratio at full 1080p HD utilizing the AVC-1 codec.  Unfortunately, 2 of a Kind was a disappointment in terms of video quality.  Colors were washed out; flesh tones were not vivid or lifelike.

Final Thoughts:  Digital Playground’s 2 of a Kind is not Robby D.’s strongest work.  The storyline is lacking, with Raven being forced to carry the movie.  Also, video quality was not what we come to expect from the top studio in the business.  Suffice to say, 2 of a Kind is rough around the edges, but there are several performances worth watching, such as Raven with Manuel and Sara Stone with Charles Dera.  Diehard fans of Raven Alexis might want to pick this title up, but do know that this title sat around for almost two years for a reason.  Recommended
