Batman - The Dark Knight XXX A Porn Parody

The Movie: Talk about great timing, Vivid has a spoof of the Dark Knight trilogy right as Warner Bros. releases The Dark Knight Rises (which you'd think was the porn parody title) The Dark Knight XXX is somewhat of a mash up of Batman parodies and has some of the key characters from the Batman franchise including The Joker, Bane, Poison Ivy, Batgirl and more. The Dark Knight XXX is in Vivid's Super Heroes collection which has featured such great titles as Avengers XXX A Porn Parody, Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody and Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody.

The Cast: Vivid has assembled a great cast for The Dark Knight XXX including Giovanni Francesco as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Axel Braun's contract girl Aiden Ashley as Catwoman, Andy San Dimas as Kathy Kane, Penny Pax as Batgirl, Dani Jensen as Poison Ivy, and Christy Mack as Zatanna. Male performers include: Brendon Miller as The Joker, Derrick Pierce as Bane, Brian Street Team as Nightwing, and Clarke Kent as Constantine, with porn-legend Tom Byron in a cameo as Commissioner Gordon.

Extras: The copy of The Dark Knight XXX we got was an advance copy without the extra disc, we will update this review when we get the extras.

Audio & Video: Shot in High Def, The Dark Knight looks and sounds fantastic. Some of the shots are in darker more shawdoy sets but everything is clear and crisp. Sound also is superb.

Scene 1 - The Joker vs Batgirl (Brendon Miller and Penny Pax)

The opening to this scene is a little muddled and it feels like we've been throw in in a movie mid stream but  Brendon Miller does a cool Heath Ledger inspired Joker. The expository isn't long and before you know it we get to the sex. Thiings start off with Penny Pax giving a nice blowjob to Brendon. This transitions into a FANTASTIC shot with Brendon fucking Penny in full Batgirl costume. A crotchless Batgirl suit is absolutely genius! This transitions to The Joker giving it to Batgirl from behind. Penny is fully engaged in the scene and seems to really be giving it her all. The full, fucking Batgirl in her costume really pays off when Penny rides Brendon in reverse anal cowgirl! It's a hot part of the scene and it leads to a very hot anal pile driver. Things finish off with Brendon cumming in Penny's mouth, sort of an opportunity lost, cum shot on the bat girl symbol, could have been hot. The scene runs about 19 mins and is a very solid sex scene. Lots of anal, which frankly was unexpected and the fact that Penny kept her batgirl suit proved to be extremely hot.

Scene 2 - Poison Ivy vs. Nightwing  (Dani Jensen and Brian Street Team)

Narratively the transitoin between the first two scenes is a mess. We have scenes of Bruce Wayne up in a winter retreat thinking back to an encounter with Nightwing. There's some action, which is good, a fight between Batman and Nightwing, but it just feels sort of tagged on. Once that narrative is done we get a scene between Dani Jensen and Brian Street Team. The costumes in this scene are as good as the first and Dani Jensen makes a great Poison Ivy!  Things start out like the did in the first scene with a great blow job and then Brian fucks Dani from behind. Dani is into the scene and quite energetic which is obvious when she hops on top of Brian for reverse cowgril. This transitions to Brian being on top and fucking Dani from behind and the m on her ass. This scene was a little shorter than the first, it runs about 16 mins and it didn't feel as electric. But it still was a very solid sex scene. At the end there's a short bit between Batman and Poison Ivy and a real quick flash of the batmobile.

Scene 3 - Catwoman vs. Batman/Bruce Wayne (Aiden Ashley and Giovanni Francesco)

Again a rough narrative transition and we've got a quick scene of dialogue between Catwoman and Bruce Wayne (sans Batman suit). Aiden Ashley is in full catwoman gear and looks fantastic. As with the two scenes before it, this one begins with oral sex. Aiden is slow and commanding with her blow job but Giovanni looks like a corpse. We then move into a nice reverse cowgirl with Aiden still in full catsuit. Partway through Aiden unzips which is a nice change of pace. They transition to spoon and Aiden continues to deliver an enthusiastic performance. From there we get a girl on top which showcases Aiden's ass really nice. Aiden finally takes off her bra and we're treated to the first real bare breasts in the film as Giovanni fucks her missionary off the side of a couch. Up to this point Giovanni has been laying down or seated in the scene, things really take off when he gets the fuck up. The end of the scene is superb and Aiden brings to a finish like a pro.

Given the fact that Giovanni is the leading man in this film, we expected more from him. During the blow job he was nearly unresponsive and while spooning he looked bored. Axel Braun needs to sense when his performer's energy is down and mix it up. Aiden gives the best female performance by far to this point and Giovanni should match her.

Scene 4 - Constantine vs Zatanna (Clarke Kent and Christy Mack)

The transitoin between the last scene and this again is sort of a mess. Catwoman talks about how former love of Bruce Wayne, Kathy Kane, is in truble and then we go to a scene with Zatanna. Now I'm not the biggest of DC Comic nerds, but I'm familiar enough with Batman so when I had to look up Zantanna it was clear that Axel was really reaching deep in the DC Universe for more female characters. As with every scene before it, this one starts off with a blow job. I'm a big fan of great oral, but having scenes all start the same way gives the film a formulaic quality that it just doesn't need. That being said Christy Mac does a superb job with her oral. But surprisingly. That's all there is. After a brief blowjob Clarke Kent blows his load on Christy's chest. It's confusing why this isn't a full blown scene. It should have been.

Fight Scene! Bain vs Batman

About an hour into The Dark Knight the movie FINALLY becomes the movie we always wanted ti to be. Great costumes, great sets, a fight scene all shot well and then of course sex. Narratively this scene works, Derrick Pierce does a fantastic job as Bain and the fight is actually real movie quality action. If the rest of the non-sex part of the film matched this level of film making you might just have one of the best adult films out there.

Scene 5 - Catwoman vs. Kathy Kane vs Bain (Aiden Ashley, Andy San Dimas and Derrick Pierce)

After a great fight scene we get a solid fuck scene. This time it's a threeway with Aiden Ashley, Andy San Dimas and Derrick Pierce. The scene starts like all the others with oral sex, but it's even more interesting as we get dueling blowjobs between Aiden and Andy. The chemistry between Aiden and Andy is more competitive than cooperative and Andy tends to retreat and masturbate when Aiden and Derrick are fucking. It's clear as Aiden and Andy take turns on top of Derrick in cowgirl that Aiden is both more engaged in the scene. There's a great part of the scene where Andy rides Derrick cowgirl while fingering her ass, but it doesn't last. The oddest thing then happens, she flips over, sucks him off for a bit and then hops on reverse cowgirl. Aiden starts to rub her clit as she's fucking Derrick and then Andy quickly hops off. It was one of the hottest moments of the scene and Andy walks away from it. Just puzzling.  If this scene were a competition between Andy San Dimas and Aiden Ashley, it would be Aiden as the winner with a clear KO.

Final Thoughts: Narratively The Dark Knight XXX is a little bit of a mess. From the start of the film where we feel like we've been dropped into the middle of a movie to the odd transitions between scenes, there just isn't the feeling of a story here like we've seen in some of the other Vivid Super Hero films. But what's lacking story wise is more than made up with great sex and really phenomenal costumes. The Dark Knight is shot extremely well and at times has the look and feel of a major production. The real highlight of the film is the end action scenes which shows off what Axel Braun can really do.

Overall the female sex performances are extremely good. The only real frustration in that space is that Christy Mack wasn't given a full scene. It makes her scene feel like a tack on, and there was a nice potential for a MMF threesome at the end. Andy San Dimas also underperformed. Her running away from a brilliant moment between her, Aiden and Derrick was really a bad move and it hurt what could have been one of the best scenes in the movie.

Of the male performers it's really Brendon Miller and Derrick Pierce who shine. As much as we like Giovanni, he just wasn't strong enough in his sex and non sex roles. His scene with Aiden could have been explosive. Axel just needed him to get off the damn couch and spend some time watching Manuel Ferrara videos. Seriously guys, you want to rock your scenes, learn from the best. Manuel engages the women he fucks in a way that ignites a scene and there's no shame in other performers learning from him! We also wanted to see more from Tom Byron! It was great to see him in a cameo, but perhaps using him in the scene with Zantanna would have been better.

The sex in Dark Knight XXX is good but the some of the set ups feel a little formulaic. We'd like to see more variation and some surprises, like the reverse cowgirl anal that Penny Pax does in the first scene of the movie. Otherwise it can feel a little like fucking by the numbers.

With a full sex scene with Christy Mack, a narrative that made more sense and more great action like at the end of the film Dark Knight XXX could have easily snagged an XCritic Pick. But it just doesn't hit that mark. There is enough great stuff here to warrant a highly recommended rating, if for no other reason than the costumed sex is so well done that a Batman fan will get what they are looking for from the sex scenes of this film. Vivid may not have set out to do it, but they've managed to produce one of the best cosplay porns we've seen.
