Audio/Video Quality: Remy LaCroix’s Anal Cabo Weekend was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by co-directors Francesca Le and Mark Wood for Evil Angel. This time, the cast consisted of only three people; Remy LaCroix, Francesca Le, and Mark Wood, meaning it was even more important to establish some chemistry and heat. Thankfully, the trio was great together and kept the technical values high end, offering an alternative showcase to the lovely young starlet that was exceptionally sexy. Parts of it reminded me of some of the earlier Shane’s World travelogues I’ve ranted in favor of over the years, the amount of footage with the trio under the all natural sun making this a winner by all established measures. The visuals were not always as polished as could be but the fun factor experience was often off the charts, giving this title some legs in the libido department. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital using an upgraded 256 Kbps aural bitrate, the vocals plainly heard throughout the show and no music or other distracting noises getting in the way.

Body of Review: Francesca Le and Mark Wood have been directing and performing in porn for years. Their latest collaboration with Evil Angel is called Remy LaCroix’s Anal Cabo Weekend, a showcase travelogue starring Remy LaCroix in what I believe embodied the spirit of the old Shane’s World movies. Rather than script out a formulaic approach, care was used to make the entire three day work vacation in Mexico come across as a trio of likeminded performers simply enjoyed each other to the hilt, the result being a movie that finally makes best use of the directing couples’ talents. With about six scenes (how you define the term marking exactly how many you will count, even the chapter credits only listing five scenes) starring Remy in each, there was no push to do a bunch of “firsts” as others might use in marketing so much as displaying exactly why the young lady stood out so well during awards time, my own appreciation for Francesca and Mark on both sides of the camera adding something less tangible but still important to the mix. If you are one of the few out there that are not into Remy at this writing, try this as an alternative to the well received Elegant Angel release that absolutely made her career last year, you might just walk away with a newfound appreciation for her talents and wonderfully frisky sexual mores as she takes it to a whole new level.

Scene One: Remy LaCroix, the foxy young lady featured on the front cover (and in every scene), was up first in bed with Francesca Le interviewing her. She claimed to hate the shitheads on a particular fanboy website but Francesca kept it in perspective for her, the clear focus of the entire adventure being to allow the fans to get to know Remy better. Obviously this should be in the collection of every Remy LaCroix fan out there but those that found some of her previous work on the mediocre side should check this one out to see her in a whole new light, breathing life into the true gonzo style of production that seems out of favor these days for cheaper methods of shooting. In short, Remy LaCroix’s Anal Cabo Weekend brought out the best in all three of the performers, the amount of quality Remy LaCroix fuck for the buck truly outstanding. I will be highly surprised if this does not garner serious award interest later this year, Mark and Francesca bringing out the best Remy has to offer at this writing.
