Audio/Video Quality: Rocco’s Coming In America was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Rocco Siffredi for Evil Angel. Rocco used Kevin Moore, Joey Silvera, and John Stagliano on camera here, the wealth of experience certainly an upgrade over so many of his foreign ventures. The lighting was almost universally solid, the flesh tones accurate, and the camera angles showcasing the ladies really well. The resolution of the scenes tended to be on the high side in the double disc production too, a light company watermark on the lower right hand corner not too distracting. The aural components were handled in a straightforward manner as well, the audio taken from the camera that heard all the vocals and any musical interludes included between the scenes or during the credits very light. In all then, the technical aspects were capably handled with enough variety to set them apart, and above, many gonzo offerings.

Body of Review: Rocco Siffredi is nothing short of a legend in porn circles, his lengthy career so full of accolades and awards that it would take a book to provide even a brief outline of his accomplishments on both sides of the camera. His work for Evil Angel is the best of the foreign directors in many ways, his frequent willingness to get over the top in physical abuse porn preventing me from getting into much of his later works. With such a top notch cast including AJ Applegate, Jada Stevens, Chanel Preston, and so many others worth a nod, Rocco himself in rare form getting them off, I felt this earned an amazing rating of XCritic Pick. I’ll be up front and point out that I watch a ton of porn and review hundreds of titles a year but this one stood out on so many levels that I couldn’t stop watching. In short, Rocco’s Coming In America was a special project deploying Rocco’s best behavior on an all star cast of delicious beauties that appealed to me so much that I found the chemistry between Rocco and the ladies to really shine, the technical aspects improved by using three of the most talented gonzo directors in the industry behind the camera.
