There was also a photogallery, more trailers, and a company promotional reel.

Audio/Video Quality: The Candy Striper was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jonathan Morgan for Wicked Pictures. While I have not seen all of Jonathan’s works in recent years, and I’ve followed his career a lot longer than most, this one looks very crisp and clear just like his other works at Wicked, the color tones accurate and the composition of the shots all enhancing the look of the ladies. Jonathan and Andre Madness seemed to be in charge of camera work and much of the rest of the technical qualities, Enigma editing, and Fliktor taking care of lighting gaffing, Mila Vandamme taking care of most makeup. The lack of continuous company watermark on the lower right hand corner (or anywhere else) was a plus too, though the editing was a bit abrupt at times for my tastes. The aural components provided fairly clear vocals, expected music, and a blend of ambient sounds the better works provide these days, some care and attention used to make the sound better than what you will find at the competition in most cases for a modest budget feature comedy.

Body of Review: Jonathan Morgan was one of the original porn success stories, transitioning from porn watching fan to male talent to world class director of many award winning fuck flicks over the years thanks in large part to his works at Wicked Pictures. It seems like only yesterday that his collaborations with Serenity kept the entire industry in stitches, waiting for whatever the two could come up with next before she retired. His latest release of The Candy Striper harkens back to those good old days as Jonathan again hits the mark with beautiful blond bombshell eye candy Samantha Saint, the gal starting her new position as a candy striper in a metropolitan hospital working for an ogre of a boss supremely well played by Kyle Stone in a non-sex role worthy of some award attention. While this was nothing like the iconic movie “Candy Stripers” from the 70’s, it was a lot of fun to watch and left me wanting a sequel, absent the “code brown” calls of course. With Brooklyn Chase, Anastasia Morna, Rilynn Rae, and even powerhouse Bonnie Rotten brought in to bolster the cast, Samantha Saint really rocked this one in her four scenes; making it a showcase of her sexual skills as well as acting. The back cover described the movie like this: “Adorable and incredibly naive Kelly (Samantha Saint) is thrilled to join the "unsung heroes of the medical field", as a Candy Striper. It doesn't take long before Kelly's eyes (and legs) are opened to the sexual misadventures at the hospital. From three-ways to voyeurism, Kelly's bedside manner is put to the test!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Samantha Saint, the smoking hot blond featured on the front cover, was up first serving as inspiration to James Deen as he tried to make a deposit to the hospital sperm bank. Unlike the multitude of copycat parodies some directors churn out on an assembly line, Morgan crafted a kick ass little comedy worth paying attention too, each of the sex scenes providing plenty of heat with a surprisingly tight cast of winners. Bonnie Rotten certainly rocked the final scene as expected but foxy little Brooklyn Chase was quite a head turner too, Anastasia “Anna” Morna worth looking for, and Rilynn Rae a nice capper but Samantha herself finally impressing me to the point that I wish I had seen this one before voting last month in a couple of award shows. I know this isn’t the blockbuster type of title Wicked usually sends me, I rarely get to see their entertaining smaller titles until getting them rammed down my throat at award time in fact, but I truly found this to be funny, sexy, and the kind of movie I’d watch with a lady friend so I rated it as Highly Recommended. In short, The Candy Striper was a veritable showcase for beautiful blond bombshell Samantha Saint to bat her baby blues and act like a stereotypical blond, succeeding on both accounts to make this movie a winner. On a related note, special attention should be paid to the overall comedic aspects of the movie as well as Kyle Stone’s excellent work as the cranky boss, the man already on my short list of favored actors that can round out any cast just right.
