Audio/Video Quality: Angelic Asses 2 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Barret Blade for Devil’s Film. There were few technical credits and no BTS footage to verify how much involvement Blade had here, perhaps a good thing since the shaky camera movement and quite varied lighting made this one look like one of his more rushed efforts in recent years. The editing was haphazard too but the flesh tones generally looked pretty good in most cases even if the use of close up footage was a bit much. The aural components were similar in terms of being hollow on vocals, repetitive on the music, and few ambient sounds applied to blend them together for a mediocre experience.

Body of Review: Barret Blade has directed for a variety of companies since coming into the industry on former girlfriend Devon’s wings, the once musician now finding a home at Devil’s Film. I know that this seems like a major downgrade in his career path but in my experience, the smaller companies often allow more creative freedom and Devil’s Film has been undergoing a bit of a renaissance of late too. His latest release for the company is called Angelic Asses 2, a collection of four new scenes and a bonus scene starring a suitably attractive group of ladies being paired up with the usual mopes, the guys not credited in any way. Of most interest to me was seeing Sheena Shaw and Tasha Reign go at it but Bailey Blue and Aleksa Nicole have been very popular of late too, even Jennifer Dark in the bonus scene wasn’t bad. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Bailey Blue, an attractive blond with pretty eyes and a smoking hot ass, was up first to establish the scene formula for the others. Still, the ladies were all appealing and did anal so it merited a rating of Rent It for providing what it said it would in advertising, I just wish the males were of better quality to bring out the best in the ladies. In short, while Angelic Asses 2 might not be the best representative title for Devil’s Film’s recent upgrades, it did impress with regard to the casting of the ladies, a few more steps and the company might be taking on more of the competition come awards time later this year so give it a look.
