The Movie:

Bad Lesbian! You don’t get your desert until you eat your dinner. There’s all sorts of jokes you could make about Girlfriends Films’ latest girl on girl release, but we’ll save the groaning for the ladies in front of the camera rather than the readers of this here website. Instead, let’s talk about what actually happens on this disc. Here’s a hint… girls have sex with each other. And that’s pretty much it. Does this disc differentiate itself from other Girlsfriends Films releases? Maybe a bit, there’s a slight domination theme going on in a few spots but for the most part this is a continuation of what the studio has been doing so well for the last however many years it is that they’ve been cranking out smut, and that’s to deliver ‘the most realistic sex in lesbian adult video.’

Scene One – Cassandra Nix And Dillion Harper: Cassandra comes home and Dillion is asleep on the couch. She heads into the bathroom and cleans herself up, blood is running from her lip, there’s a gash over her eye. Dillion wakes up and realizes Cassandra has gotten into trouble. It has to do with stealing! They have a pretty minor argument and Dillion cleans Cassandra up. Bad Lesbian is a shot on digital video production which looks pretty clean presented here in a very strong and stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild shimmer in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident anywhere. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (the camera work is very good here), and overall the movie looks great showing very nice detail and color.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit during the sex scenes during the foreplay – there’s too much kissing for there to be talk! -comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The background music is fine, levels are nicely balanced, everything sounds clean and clear and all in all the disc sounds very good.

Extras:

Extras are slim, but there are a few bits and pieces here, the first of which is Our Girlfriends, really nothing more than a minute long credits listing for the feature. Outside of that? Promos, Trailers and Website Info ‘extras’ are pretty much self explanatory (hint – they’re ads).

Final Thoughts:

Bad Lesbian doesn’t reinvent the Girlsfriends Films wheel but it’s well shot and plenty steamy. The girls are all nice and natural and all quite attractive and just as importantly they get into what they do here, and sincerity counts for a lot. The disc looks and sounds good (even if the scene with the leather couch is mic’d wrong) but, as is typical with Girlfriends Films releases, the extras are nothing to write home about. But hey, the feature is hot. If you dig girl on girl action, consider it recommended.
