Extras: The extras included a 23:41 minute long Behind the Scenes feature (a series of interviews with the cast well worth watching), an extended cut of the final sexual encounter lasting 18:25 minutes where the cast all pawed the restricted Maddy in a heated fashion and played with her, amounting to about twice as long a scene, a “pick your pleasure” menu, a photogallery, trailers, spam, and some company information.

Audio/Video Quality: The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Again using the talents of director of photography Eddie Powell (with Paul Woodcrest assisting on camera too), editor Gabrielle Anex (assisted by Edie), and the usual crew responsible for the company’s best efforts, Jacky wrote this one as a the latest in her wonderful “Erotic Stories” line so many have praised. The lighting was well done, the pacing on par with anything coming out of the competition, and the depth of the feature elements certainly helped this one stand out. Having appreciated the previous volumes in the series more than expected, it did not take me long to appreciate this one as well, the technical aspects merely the icing on the proverbial cake. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components by Paul Van Dik were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, now if the competition would only copy the quality of the work and not just steal major aspects, we could all win.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a multi-talented young hotty working for New Sensations in various capacities, her works as a writer and co-director with Eddie Powell helping propel the erotica feature back into the limelight after a generation of parodies saturated the feature market. Her latest release is called The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee, a showcase effort starring adorable Maddy O’Reilly in a quality erotica feature many should enjoy. With Jessa Rhodes, India Summer, and Natalia Starr backing up the young beauty and men like Steven St. Croix, Xander Corvus, and Johnny Castle catering to their sexual needs, this one had “award winner” written all over it when I opened the case the other day. Beware that there are spoilers ahead if you want to go into it completely cold but it won’t take long before you warm up should you choose to select this flick yourselves.

The back cover said this about the feature: “After growing up in a conservative home, a sexually repressed, Anna Lee (Maddy O'Reilly) seeks help in the most unlikely of places - an unconventional therapy practice called the Variel House. Known for taking a very hands-on approach to treatment, the Variel House pushes patients to their sexual limits through a variety of exercises geared at helping them confront their fears. It is during these exercises that Anna Lee is paired up with Emmett (Xander Corvus), a patient battling his own demons, and the two forge an unlikely friendship. Together they share their most intimate secrets and hidden desires while navigating an intensely provocative road towards sexual freedom. But when their erotic journey proves too challenging for Emmett to handle, Anna is left wondering whether true liberation can only be found on one's own.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: India Summer, a world class MILF brunette with a pronounced tan line, was up first with muscular stud Johnny Castle, the couple helping to open Maddy to her sensual nature with regard to her aural and tactile senses. While I would have liked seeing him gobble her gash and rim that perfect pucker of hers, she was so focused on pleasuring him orally that such an edit point might have distracted me but she rode him actively from there, her tits slamming up and down as she took him inside of her balls deep with her hip grinding. Scene Four: Maddy O’Reilly, Johnny Castle, India Summer, Jessa Rhodes, and Steven St. Croix were up next in something that some may not consider a true “scene” but I did given the strokability of the footage, not to mention the longer version included in the extras section of the disc. Maddy had a few quick encounters by this point in the movie, generally fantasy clips or minor sexual bits that added to the fun even if purists would object to including them as full scenes too. Maddy was bound in a standing position with a blindfold back on her, the almost random performer kissing, caressing, or fingering her. There was no spooge glazing her face or ass, no mutual contact, and no sexual freedom on Maddy’s part to explore her building yearnings, some food fetish and toy use helping her get off.

Scene Five: Maddy O’Reilly, the beautiful lead of the movie seen on the right side of the front cover, was up last in the scene culminating her built up desire to engage with Xander Corvus, the troubled man seen featured on the left side of the cover. She handcuffed him to the bed and removed her dress, her sexy panties tightly fitting her perfect ass. The sexy young lady peeled off his pants and gave his growing erection some oral love, Maddy controlling him as she slowly gave him the pleasure he sought. If you prefer gonzo styled sex where the performers are going full bore right away, this scene might come across as dreadfully slow but given the context of how the movie used both players to treat each other’s near opposite ailments, it worked all too well, Maddy forcing him to savor her as a whole person and Xander offering her just what she needed on multiple levels. She licked his balls and shaft as he struggled against his restraints, her blowjob finishing up to release him from the handcuffs upon which time he pounced on her rapidly. The tempo of the scene increased quickly from there to include him paddling her and drilling her dripping wet pussy with abandon, the intensity between them taken to the next level. The couple went oral and vaginal from there, both freed from their physical as well as mental restraints to appreciate each other, Xander soon plastering her torso with his splooge, Maddy tasting the ball batter before they summed it all up nicely.

Summary: The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations earned a rating of Highly Recommended for a general audience, certainly more if you have enjoyed erotica features in series such as the New Sensations Erotic Stories series to date. The replay value, nuances in the story and sexual exploration, and technical values enhanced the production a great deal over the usual mediocrity of the copy cats out there prowling to cut corners by stealing the ideas of others versus come up with their own original flciks. In short then, The Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee was a tight little feature starring lovely Maddy O’Reilly in what I consider her breakout feature release of the year, complimenting her various gonzo efforts (my review of “Maddy” forthcoming) so if you have any desire to see the beautiful your hotty continue to quickly ascend the ranks of the porn pantheon, you simply won’t want to miss this one. And as much as Maddy will certainly be considered for various awards this coming season for this and her showcase title, Xander should also garner some of the praise, as should Jacky and the crew.
