Audio/Video Quality: Maddy was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Mason for her movie line called “Hard X” as distributed by Mile High Distribution. Mason handled all the camera work as well as took charge of Art Direction and other decisions here, the editing by Lake Manor Post similar to what she worked with previously at Elegant Angel in many ways. The music was by Productiontrax & Freak Van Workum and suited the visual aspects of the show, the lack of a continuous company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen definitely helped minimize distractions. The addition of interview material between the scenes was appreciated too, I just wish other companies would get on board with this idea in their own showcase titles, Mason proving she still has what it takes to compete against the big boys of gonzo porn.

Body of Review: Mason is a popular female director whose “Hard X” movies are distributed by Mile High Distribution. Maddy is the latest of her star showcase titles from this line coming in for review, a showcase effort starring sexy babe Maddy O’Reilly in four scenes that included her first anal. I know this title came out awhile back and was already capably handled by one of Maddy’s biggest fans here at Xcritic but a second opinion was called for so here I am suggesting this one as worthy of serious award consideration in everything from showcase categories to individual scenes, to yet another reason to adore young Maddy O’Reilly for all the usual awards this fall. While I have seen better individual scenes starring the curvy babe, taken as a whole, there was a lot to appreciate that almost amounted to a game changed of sorts for Maddy.

The back cover described the movie like this: “"Maddy" offers fans four unforgettable hardcore sex scenes focused on the gorgeous North Carolina native, and porn superstar, Maddy O'Reilly. She stars in her 1st anal scene alongside four time male performer of the year, Manuel Ferrara and in her 2nd anal sex scene with current male performer of the year, James Deen, and Ramon Nomar. The movie also features Maddy in a twelve guy blowbang, featuring intense hardcore action, and a massive facial. Also including in depth interviews and a behind the scenes look into the world of its flourishing leading lady. "Maddy" is directed by the award winning Mason.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Given the strokability, replay value, overall quality of performances, I thought a rating of Highly Recommended, or perhaps even better if you are one of Maddy’s fan boys (in which case this title is a “must have”). In short then, Maddy was another fine entry into the starlet showcase genre thanks to a great performer but also due to a director able to get the most out of her in the varied scenes and tease montages. While my review is not a “love letter” as my teammate wrote to Maddy when he covered it awhile back, it should be noted that the young lady has really upped her game of late so she earned whatever love was sent her way by the devoted fellow. I look forward to seeing a lot more of this type of movie from Mason in future endeavors (“Keisha” should be out by now), her knack for strokable gonzo footage showcasing specific performers among the best you will find.
