Overview: Pearl Necklace is a well-reviewed, highly-regarded adult film released in 2013 by JoyBear Pictures. The film is a foreign feature and was nominated in several categories by AVN as well as XBIZ. Prior to receiving the screener, I hadn't heard much of the movie but after seeing the trailer, I was blown away. As a fan of Digital Playground features, I was interested in seeing what director Justine Mil could bring to American audiences. The synopsis for the film is as follows: When a maid working for Lord & Lady Shadwell is unfairly sacked, she plots sweet revenge by robbing her detestable former employers of their priceless heirloom.

Our protagonist, Holly is trapped in the bedroom of Jasmin Jae and Ryan Ryder who are quick to ravish each other. The movie is elegantly shot in every way and something as simple as a blowjob has a cinematic look and feel. With Holly (Tiffany Doll) under Lord & Lady’s bed, she’s feet away from doggystyle pounding put on by Ryan. The sexy brunette is put on her back and fucked missionary while wearing fishnet stockings and a bra. The scene between the two is electrifying and is the perfect combination of give and take. We’re treated to a few different positions before Ryan comes on Jasmin’s pussy.

Although the main feature excels, its special features fall short. Director Justine Mii gives us a 5 minute behind the scenes extra that leaves us wanting more. After seeing such an amazing feature, most viewers, myself included are eager to see the production process. A standard photo gallery is included as well.

Pearl Necklace is an amazing presentation from beginning to finish. The film has a very cinematic look and feel and rivals some of the better Digital Playground features from Robby D. It’s easy to see why Pearl Necklace was showered with nominations this past year. The camera work of Justine Mii makes Tiffany Doll all the more beautiful in every frame and every shot. After viewing the behind the scenes, it’s even more amazing that Pearl Necklace was shot on a Canon DSLR.

Final Thoughts: Pearl Necklace by Justine Mii for JoyBear Pictures is one incredible peace of work. In all my years of reviewing adult content, Pearl Necklace stands out for so many reasons. The fact that a foreign feature can have such an impact in the States is something Justine Mii and JoyBear Pictures should be proud of. If you give the feature a chance, you’ll be blown away with five standout performances by Jasmine Jae, Lexi Lowe, Cathy Heaven, Paige Turnah, and a breakthrough performance by TIffany Doll. Every scene, every shot is perfect – simply put. I would have liked to seen more special features, but nevertheless, Pearl Necklace delivers on all fronts and is with certain worth every penny.
