Audio/Video Quality: I Like Black Boys 12 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by Devil’s Film. The lighting washed out the contrast between the white females and black males, the sometimes shaky camera and slightly jumpy editing not helping much either, a company watermark seen on the lower right corner of the picture throughout the movie. In terms of the flesh tones and color saturation, it looked like someone left the camera on the wrong setting or mastered the disc improperly. The aural components were similar in terms of being hollow on vocals, repetitive on the music, and few ambient sounds applied to blend them together for a mediocre experience.

Body of Review: Devil’s Film has become a company trying to upgrade since it was bought out awhile back by Pipedreams, the website and DVDs it releases often filling marketing niches other companies have either written off as unprofitable or simply don’t care to expend resources on, giving it a golden opportunity to become a big fish in a small pond rather than chase every angle or niche around. Their latest release for review is called I Like Black Boys 12, a collection of four new scenes and a bonus scene starring a suitably attractive group of ladies being paired up with the usual black mopes, the guys not credited in any way. The ladies included major hotty AJ Applegate as featured on the cover, and Missy Monroe on her comeback tour, newcomer Marley Blaze and exotic Violet Monroe adding to the fun so I had hopes the show would transcend the mediocre technical values, tease provided instead of a true BTS look at how the scenes were made. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Marley Blaze, a newcomer with a handful of credits to her name, was up first as she seduced Tony Everready from the picture window facing her back yard. He was standing by the pool and she was wearing some tight shorts creeping up her ass and a matching top, the gal putting on a tease by stripping until he walked over and whipped out his turgid rod. Scene Three: Violet Monroe, a redhead wearing a bright dress and fishnet stockings, was then up explaining to her girlfriend how she really loved Tony Everready, her relationship with him already lasting 3 years while he was in jail, the stereotypical dynamic as funny as could be even before the two met for him to take charge. Her friend left as the couple kissed, Tony pulling down her pantyhose and removing her shoes as he laid her back and rubbed her pussy through her matching g-string. Summary: I Like Black Boys 12 by Devil’s Film likely did not credit the director since this was not one of its best looking sets of scenes, neither Jim Powers nor Barrett Blade (the two most likely directors of the material) apparently wanting “credit” here due to the technical issues arising. While the technical matters were found wanting, the ladies, especially AJ Applegate and Missy Monroe, helped elevate the replay value and strokability to a decent rating of Rent It. With some tweaks and polishing up, the series could improve drastically were someone to put more effort into it, the inclusion of AJ Applegate certainly assisting in that aspect of the flick. In short, I Like Black Boys 12 was an improvement over some of the earlier volumes I watched awhile back but the easiest thing to fix, the technical values, was in need of polishing up so check it out before dropping your hard earned cash.
