Extras: The best extra was the 29:32 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the footage comprised of a series of post sex interviews with some of the cast. There was then a sex act menu, a photogallery, some trailers, spam and company information. Each of the interviews was different but allowed the cast and director put their scene in context as well as allow them to expound on various topics so don’t miss it.

Audio/Video Quality: Kinky Wedding Day was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin under her now-established Tabu Tales line. The camera operators were Eddie Powell and Paul Woodcrest this time, both of them providing the needed visual elements to make the production work best. It was clear that a lot of work went into the movie and it looked really good, the editing by Gabrielle Anex and lighting helping a bunch. There was a company watermark in the lower right corner of the screen but it was very light and unobtrusive so few should complain. The aural components were well done too, the quality of the stereo English presentation combining clear vocals, appropriate ambient sounds, and a mixture of well handled musical pieces to work really well.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a director that continues to evolve with her work at Digital Sin, one of her favorite projects called “Tabu Tales”. Having enjoyed many of the scenes from the line myself and singing the praises of the resulting DVD’s, I look forward to seeing them whenever they come in for review, the latest this time being last month’s release of Kinky Wedding Day. The series still focuses on sexual trysts that are socially unacceptable but expanded a little this time with some father in law to be action, the ladies including babes such as Casey Calvert, Bailey “Dahlia Sky” Blue, Nikki Daniels, and Adriana Chechik, with Steven St. Croix again serving as the best male of the bunch. Say what you will about the company’s continued domination of step-relation vignettes and how all the “Johnny come lately” companies are trying desperately to steal some thunder but even now the director and her peers are evolving into new areas, news on that sure to come out before too long.

The back cover described the movie like this: “Hoping that he can teach her how to be a perfect lover before she walks down the aisle, Tracy pleads with her future father-in-law to take her virginity. The morning of his wedding day, Kyle finds himself pulled back into a forbidden affair with his stepsister, Allison. After Randy lectures his promiscuous niece about the importance of celibacy, he begins to rethink his values when he finds himself falling for her seduction. Best Man, Mike couldn't be less enthused about his brother's wedding until his stepmother steals him away for an illicit, pre-ceremony tryst.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: : Casey Calvert, the adorable brunette featured on the front cover, was up first as the nervous bride about to get married to the son of Steven St. Croix. I know some out there prefer the brighter themes of Jacky’s Romance lines to the forbidden fruit aspects of Tabu Tales but the darker elements give more to work with and remain more interesting over time for some, enhancing replay value for many and strokability for others. This time, the series of vignettes earned a rating of Recommended courtesy of efforts in front and behind the camera. None of the scenes were clunkers, each offering some replay value and modest strokability while providing the kind of genre action honestly described, all four ladies paired up with the right guys for the specific vignettes they were in. In short, I liked Kinky Wedding Day as another appealing outing in the “Tabu Tales” line, Jacky continuing to succeed where others so often fail.
