Audio/Video Quality: # My Ass was captured in anamorphic widescreen by director Mimefreak for Arch Angel. The solid lighting enhanced the accurate flesh tones of the cast and helped provide plenty of detail here, the editing was generally well done too. There was no company watermark and the video bit rate was decent, my viewing on a large screen television revealing only a very modest number of compression artifacts. The aural components in 1.0 Dolby Digital monaural were fairly basic, not in a bad way mind you but basic, the limited amount of talking and ambient noises blended in with the uncredited musical scoring that fit the action.

Body of Review: Mimefreak is an accomplished director working at Arch Angel these days, his skills at bringing out solid sexual performances of high end casts making him one of the favored directors of growing groups of fans. His latest movie in for review is called # My Ass, a set of five scenes featuring a very high end cast (no pun intended) that included cover gal Lola Foxx doing her first on camera anal scene, the rest of the cast all accomplished anal enthusiasts such as Bonnie Rotten, Remy LaCroix, Jada Stevens, and Maddy O’Reilly. It’s often a bold move using so many highly prolific booty queens and princesses in such a flick, after all, those of us who watch a great deal of porn typically have more to compare to than most in the industry or fans, so my biggest concern going in was that the male performers helped the ladies live up to their full potential rather than made “good but not great” scenes this time.

The technical values were decent, the limited tease appealing, and the BTS feature all added points so I rated it as a Recommended. Those that know ladies like Maddy O’Reilly, Remy LaCroix, and newly christened anal enthusiast Lola Foxx might have expected more from them but director Mimefreak acquitted himself quite well considered the elevated expectations such a cast runs into. In short, # My Ass was truthfully advertised as having anal in each scene, Lola giving it up on camera for the first time and the others showing how well their perfect puckers can take a pounding so check this one out and see what all the buzz is about the infamous “Freak Crew”, the director getting a nod for trying different things as he climbs his way to the top of the porn pantheon.
