Extras: The first disc had trailers and a 24:58 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where Tommy and Erik were interviewed before some photoshoot material of the ladies was presented (though their vocals were scrubbed in favor of music, a weak decision). It should be noted that the movie started out with two interviews/photoshoots of the ladies lasting just under an hour, both naked at times and looking hot as they discussed various matters with the director, a second set of interviews with solo masturbation scenes included on the second disc. The extras on the second disc included trailers and a 41:36 minute long bonus scene from Auditions 1, as described in detail below between Carter Cruise and Michael Vegas.

Audio/Video Quality: Ass Versus Pussy was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films. Using high definition cameras, Skow set forth to provide an upgraded experience from his earlier series that I long appreciated. Mike Towers and Alex Ladd handled the cameras along with Skow, and Tony Peaches was the credited editor, allowing Skow to interview the ladies without dealing with all the ongoing issues involved. There was no continuous company watermark on the screen and while certain portion of the footage looked like a filter was used to soften the image, the overall look of the show was solid. The aural components were likewise well done by Bina, the 2.0 Dolby Digital encoding added in during post production to limit the background noises, the vocals heard reasonably well in most cases, few ambient noises disturbing the flow of the show though Skow broke the wall at times during the sex scenes to talk. The music did have some separation to it, I double checked with headphones to make sure, but the vocals appeared to be captured in monaural.

Body of Review: B. Skow needs no introduction on the pages of XCritic, the talented director having had his praises sung loud and often by a multitude of critics as well as having contributed some blogs here himself. His current distribution deal with Girlfriends Films has given him more freedom to explore different possibilities, his latest venture called Ass Versus Pussy, a showcase to compare hotty newcomer Carter Cruise against seasoned industry veteran Chanel Preston, both well recognized as popular performers. When I first heard of the title, my main concern was that it would simply be a compilation of older work and that the advertised “over 4 hours of original footage” would be a scam but I hung in there and waited, the following review detailing the production that no one else appears to have covered despite it’s release over a month ago. Before I forget, the material appeared to be all new and unreleased on DVD at this writing, some of it stretched out to make more scenes but new nonetheless.

The company website described the movie like this: “Chanel Preston and Carter Cruise go head to head in a straight hardcore sex fest that begs to see which type of sex is better: anal or straight pussy? Watch as these two beauties get their pussies and asses violated in what is sure to be an instant hardcore classic that will make you blow your load for years to cum!!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Chanel Preston and then Carter Cruise were given an extended amount of time to be interviewed by the director, the total interview time lasting just under an hour as they displayed their bodies in sexy fashion. The dreamy, oiled up Carter was most impressive by the way.

Scene Two: Chanel Preston, the curvy redhead featured on the left side of the front cover, was up first with Tommy Pistol as the sleeping beauty was molested by the renowned feature performer into giving a half awake BJ, the knob slobbing not as all encompassing as her better works in the field. Carter Cruise, the cute blond award winner featured on the right side of the front cover, was up next with Erik Everhard as he performed cunnilingus on the sleeping cutie. Each picked up in a far better lit bed as follows and I would have enjoyed that the action be kept together (all Carter footage in a single scene and all Chanel footage in another since they were shot together).

Scene Three: Chanel Preston, next awake in the large black bed with red sheets, resting her head on the chest of Tommy Pistol, openly wondered what she was doing with him, the quirky guy initiating sex by diving between Chanel’s spread legs to go down on her with an emphasis on her precious pucker, his rimming skills well established. Both ladies were interviewed at length, shown together as well as doing both Erik Everhard and Tommy Pistol, even getting themselves off in a separate solo masturbation sequences to complete the circle, all of the sex strokable with significant replay value. In short, Ass Versus Pussy had a front cover that made it look like amazing newcomer Carter Cruise was being pitted sexually against curvy stunner Chanel Preston but the show was more of an exploration of both, each finding satisfaction in doing both vaginal and anal sex to the point where everyone wins so check it out (and look for the movie to be mentioned during upcoming award nomination time all too soon).
