According to Wikipedia, ShemaleYum.com is touted as "the first transsexual pay site with original content." I believe this to be true because it is easy to find most any trans woman star on this site, going back to the beginning of her career. Among these superstars who began to appear on ShemaleYum.com early in their careers are my favorites Jane Marie, Jessy Dubai, Yasmin Lee, Jessica Fox, Venus Lux, Bailey Jay, and many others. In fact, much to my delight, I found Bailey Jay's first scene on ShemaleYum.com!

During my exploration of the site, I've found videos and pictures going back to 2002. Therefore, ShemaleYum.com is a veritable treasure trove of trans woman porn history. ShemaleYum.com continues to make history. During my visits in June 2017, there were updates almost every day. And, many of the girls featured were appearing in their very first scene! That's awesome. It's like being at the dawn of history.

Of the quite new girls I "met" for the first time while reviewing ShemaleYum.com, my favorites include Annabelle Lane and Amber Rembrandt. I'll show you some photos of these hot new girls a little later in this review. In fact, adorable Annabelle is highlighted in the site's home page below.

ShemaleYum.com is one of many Grooby sites dedicated to trans women. 

This review is based upon my visits between 06/01/2017 and 06/19/2017.

• Overall Look and Feel (Aesthetics): The look and feel of ShemaleYum.com has recently been freshened as shown in the home page (above) and member's page (below). It's attractive and clean, and the interface makes it pleasant to review the content and to find what you are seeking.

• Ease of Navigation: The site is intuitively designed, so I had no problem finding anything I wanted...with the exception of "Coming Soon" scenes. Although there is a 'button" toward the top of the page, clicking it shows previously posted updates, not future ones. I always like to know what's coming up so I can get "psyched up" for it. I hope that the Grooby programmers figure out the problem and fix it. 
• Speed: I never had any interruptions while downloading. The scenes and photosets download at the speed of your internet access. Be aware, however, that the 4K videos are huge (± four gigabytes) and they take a long time to download.
• Responsive Design: The site automatically sizes to fit your monitor (desktop, pad, or phone). Although I did most of my review of the site using my desktop computer, I did "click through" several of the pages on my iPhone and everything worked well.
• Content provided: The site incudes hard and soft videos and photos...mostly of solo masturbation scenes, but occasionally ts/boy hard core. Text passages describe each scene as shown on the members page above.
• Frequency of updates: Daily. No trans woman site that I've reviewed for XCritic.com comes close to the prolific nature of ShemaleYum.com! 
• Cost: As you can see from the screen shot below, memberships range from $.65 per day to $1.20 daily depending on the length of your membership.

The collage below is of actual screen captures from ShemaleYum.com videos. All I did to them was scale them to fit and improve the color balance a bit. The stars featured, clockwise from top left, are: superstar Chelsea Marie, my dream girl Annabelle Lane, Amber Rembrandt (with the Fleshlight), and Candy Marie (pumping her penis). 

• Size (resolution): Videos are available in resolutions ranging from 360P all the way to 4K (2160P). Of course, the older scenes are not available in as high resolutions as the newer ones. Be aware that the 4K versions are awesome but take a good deal of time to download. That said, I love the 4K videos! The images are so clear it is like having the girl in the room with you!
• Downloadable? Yes
• Available as Video on Demand? Yes
• Approximate length: The 17 videos I watched while reviewing this site ranged in length from 11 3/4 minutes to 21 1/2 minutes. The average length of these scenes is 17 1/3 minutes.
• Storyline/acting: None of the scenes I watched had any sort of storyline. They are strictly gonzo.
• Type of Scenes Available:
• Solo: Almost all the scenes are solo masturbation.
• Transwoman/genetic woman: I did not encounter any TS/genetic girl scenes. That doesn't mean there aren't any. But, there are literally thousands of scenes on this long running site and I, of course, did not watch them all.
• Transwoman/transwoman: Not that I encountered. 
• Transwoman/man: Yes.
• Group: Not that I encountered.
• Attention to model's make-up and wardrobe: I believe that more emphasis should be placed on the girls' wardrobe and makeup. Since this site highlights many girls at the very beginning of their careers, I think they should be clothed and made up as professionally as possible to start them out in the best possible light. I'm not saying that the make-up and wardrobe are bad, but I think that more emphasis could be placed on these attributes (as is the case on DreamTranny.com and Transsensual.com). Just a suggestion.
• Girl has orgasm during scene: Most of the time. Some of the scenes, especially some of the older ones, are "teases" only. Those scenes leave me unfulfilled because I think that every performer ought to cum during every sex scene. I do applaud the recent addition to ShemaleYum.com called "Cumshot Mondays." I've really been looking forward to these scenes (a collage of screen captures is below). The exploding girls are (clockwise from top left): Chelsea Marie, Annabelle Lane, Yadira Cuellar, and Amber Rembrandt.

• Compression artifacts: None that I noted. 
• White balance/lighting: I believe that more care should be taken with lighting and white balance. Because the quality of the light, as well as the color balance settings of the camera, so greatly influences the appearance of a girl's flesh, great care ought to be taken to ensure perfection. In comparison to some other "high end" sites, I think that these videos appear just a tad more "amateur" than "professional."
• Camera angles/motions: No problems. The videographer professionally captured the action.
• Audio: No problems.
• Editing: No problems.
• Problems encountered: None.

The screen capture below shows how the photo pages appear. They are straightforward and easy to use. 

The collage below gives you an idea of the "pretty girl" photos that are included in virtually every photo set. The awesome breasts in the top left photo belong to Marissa Minxx, sexy Amber Rembrandt's cock salutes her very talented tongue at right, and adorable Annabelle Lane's never-ending legs surround her erect dick and puckered asshole at bottom left.

• White balance/lighting: The photo sets generally are better lit and have better white balance than the videos. Since the photos were probably shot with a different camera than the video, this discrepancy makes sense.

You can chat with other members (across multiple Grooby sites), post comments or questions, or just enjoy what people are talking about.  

Commentary and Recommendation

I like ShemaleYum.com. It has a feel of "newness" to it because the girls, in many cases, appear first on this site. So, in addition to being "new," it's also "historical." In addition, I really like how there are updates daily and the Cumshot Mondays are excellent.

Given this praise, I'd like to make a couple of suggestions to the producers of the site:

• Please spend a little more time and effort on the girls' makeup and wardrobe. Your scenes are extremely important to these women, especially those who appear for the first time on ShemaleYum.com. Make them look as extraordinary as they are. 
• Please improve the lighting and color balance of the videos. Fleshtones should always be flattering and not skewed toward magenta or yellow.
• Finally...and I know this would be a business buster...please reconsider renaming the site to something besides "shemale." I've asked several of my trans woman friends about this word and they don't care for it. Most "hate" it. Others tolerate it. Perhaps...and this is just a suggestion...Grooby could rebrand the site (as they did for the "Tranny Awards") slowly and gradually. In this way, the site can retain its existing membership while transitioning to a new brand. 

The site is easy to use, among the most prolific of any trans woman site I've seen, and contains lots of excellent content (both videographic and photographic). I think it may appear to be a bit pricey, especially month by month. However, if you buy a longer membership, the daily cost is negligible. The sheer volume of content that you will receive makes the cost reasonable.

My overall recommendation is "recommended." Give it a shot for a few months and if you like it, become a long-term member.
