Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame and generally looked very clear. There were some minor issues with grain and lighting but nothing major. I didn't see any artifacts or other problems. The audio was presented in stereo with a running score. The music was a pain for me as it got in the way more than once. In the first scene in particular, the vocals were way too low compared to the music but in several cases, the entire track was distorted.

Body of Review: Lexington Steele (AKA: The Dark Prince) has long been a fixture in porn. He's a guy with a huge dick and an even larger following. Having worked for others for years, he decided it was time to start controlling the movies he made, and retaining the rights to them (rather than make everyone else rich). Earlier this year, he joined forces with the folks at Red Light District; routinely acknowledged as the current leader in gonzo porn, and started directing for them under his Mercenary Pictures label. In his third release, Black Reign, the Tower of Power, the Dark Prince of Porn, "Lex-izes" 6 women of color. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that all the sex was oral/straight, no condom:

Scene One: Vanessa, a hotty wearing a corset/fishnet body stocking combination that looked great, started this one off by shooting some pool. Her large, round ass and breasts had me thinking of polishing my own stick. Lex came into the room and the two got busy with lots of oral action before the straight screwing. Very warm action for those who like Black on Black stuff.

Scene Two: Courtney, also wearing a fishnet outfit-one with strategic openings too, started off outside by the pool before heading inside to get "Lex-ized". Oral and straight action only and this scene wasn't as good as the previous one. I think she has the right equipment, it might've been an off day for her. Still, it wasn't a bad scene.

Scene Three: Katsumi, an Asian gal (and I thought the show was all about Black gals) wearing a fetish red vinyl outfit and looking great in it, plays a bit of pool herself before she warms up with some tease action. Good thing she warmed herself up because her partner for the scene, as with all the others here, was the mighty Lex. She put some extra energy into the scene to make up for her French heritage and lack of skin pigment and it showed. Warm.

Scene Four: Victoria, a gal with a great ass and large implants, came into the room wearing a tiny two-piece outfit and climbing the staircase. This would be the stairway to Heaven from the looks of it. She masturbates and eventually is joined by Lex on the couch. The vocals were distorted here at first but the action made me forget about it. The action was good and the subtitles at the end when she dodged his pop shot (by pretending to get hit in the eye with some) was classic.

Scene Five: Shari, also dressed in a hot fishnet outfit (thanks Lex!), pranced around and showed off her assets for the camera. I liked her ass and DSL's the most although her face wasn't bad either. Lex came in and the two got down to business fairly quickly. She bounced off his penis and showed that she liked the action as much as he did in this very warm scene.

Scene Six: Ayana, wearing a fetish outfit made of chains and leather, showed her goodies off while still outside but took it indoors to masturbate in anticipation of getting "Lex-ized" by the Man himself. He walked in and accommodated her needs; taking her all the way. That she could take his entire shaft is a testament to her experience. I liked her face and meaty ass the most here but her energy level was also solid.

Summary: I liked this release more than Top Guns which was a solid flick itself. The cast here didn't always have the most beautiful faces (though most were very attractive there) but they seemed to have fun and showed a lot of energy. The outfits were great and except for the technical limitations, it was worth giving a rating of Highly Recommended. Check it out if you like dark skinned gals having fun.
