Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual industry standard of 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. Most of the scenes looked about average yet a few looked very good. There was a bit of grain and some mosquito noise but nothing that was so distracting that I didn't want to watch the scenes. The audio was presented in stereo English but I didn't notice a lot of separation between the channels but most of the music was clear and the vocals not too far off the mark. The DVD transfer itself was decent and I don't recall seeing any major amounts of artifacts but the picture froze at one point and I had to restart the DVD to get it working again.

Body of Review: Tia Bella, the East Coast brunette with a Hispanic and Greek heritage, was a popular Vivid contract gal for a while in the 1990's. She had a curvy body and seemed to enjoy herself in a variety of scenes, rather than just do lesbian or a single guy. Fans of hers have seen a number of compilations over the years from Vivid and the latest one is 5 Star Tia Bella. In it, there were 13 scenes (the bonus scenes also had her-great move Vivid!) with ten being in the feature itself. If you like this gal, and I don't see a lot of straight men turning her away, you'll probably enjoy this compilation. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by movie, director, cast and action, noting that oral and straight sex were the norm here:

Scene One: Camera Shy: D-Paul Thomas: Tia and Nick had a short scene where she dressed up like an angel and he like a devil. It centered on straight sex and he finished by rubbing out a load on her abdomen with some modest heat.

Scene Two: Getting' Lucky: D-Toni English: Tia, all dressed up in fancy clothes, lost them quickly for her pal Nick in a theatre. She gave him a long, slow blowjob and he reciprocated on her for a shorter period of time. The couple had a few positions of straight, condom-laden sex and he blew his load on her lovely ass.

Scene Three: Girl Next Door: D-Toni English: Tia and Derrick had a scene on a worn looking couch in an apartment. The sex was oral and straight with a bit of warmth between them. It wasn't bad and he blew his load on her ass and back.

Scene Four: Party Favors: D-Ralph Parfait: Tia took on Christian this time in an office setting. The major problem I had with the scene was that it was oral only with her giving him an admittedly solid blowjob.

Scene Five: Party Favors: D-Ralph Parfait: Tia, Corrine, and Cheyenne had a scene with Vince in a large living room. Most of the time, they split into two groups while being taped but the great news was how good the picture looked. The sex was very warm with some real chemistry between the cast as well.

Scene Six: Secrets And Lies: D-Guillermo Brown: Tia and AJ had a scene on a mattress in a warehouse. The sex, like the other scenes, was primarily oral and straight but the two also seemed to be having fun. The picture froze up at one point though and this ruined the scene. Otherwise, the sex was decently captured.

Scene Seven: Secrets And Lies: D-Guillermo Brown: Tia and foreign star James had a scene on a bed while Sydnee Steele and a guy did their own thing in another room. The sex ended with James dropping a load on her chest after a titty fuck.

Scene Eight: Sin-A-Matic #: D-Toni English: Tia, AJ and Jon had a scene in a video store. At first, she was doing AJ until Jon walked in on them and they let him participate (what nice Christian values!). AJ had fingered her ass but no other anal sex took place. I liked the scene and it was one of the longer ones. Part of the appeal of the scene for me was that I've been in a number of adult establishments and wished some porn star started blowing and fucking me but fantasies are like that, yes?

Scene Nine: Taxi Dancers: D-Paul Thomas: Tia and Tim had a scene outdoors by a waterfall and what appeared to be a zoo location. The oral was fun and the straight sex wasn't bad either with her rubbing a load out of him onto her chest. Yum!

Scene Ten: Tia Bella: Extreme Close-Up #3: D-Paul Thomas: Tia and Vince had the final scene on a couch. He stroked her a bit to get her in the mood before going down on her. She then returned the favor and got him ready for the inevitable straight sex. She took the doggy position, a personal favorite, and he entered her from behind. I liked that he put on his own condom, something you don't see often enough, and took it off to blow his load on her pretty breasts. Yum!

Summary: I never really appreciated this little dancer when she was actively making movies for Vivid Interactive but through compilations like this one, myself and a whole new crew of fans can learn what she had to offer. Although not a perfect compilation, I'm giving this one a rating of Rent It unless you're a big fan (who'll want to buy it if you don't own the scenes already).
