Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color with stereo English audio. It sounded a bit hollow at times with the music set a bit high but otherwise the audio wasn't much of a problem. The picture was actually pretty weak and the dvd transfer was not the best (thankfully Vivid has been working on improving this type of issue in more recent releases). The picture was often faded or grainy with video noise problems throughout and compression artifacts a regular event.

Body of Review: As the porno industry reaches what is now being referred to as "middle age", for all intents and purposes it started in the late 1960's, it's easy to forget that the average career lifespan of a female performer is under a year. For every Jenna Jameson that comes along (lasting years in popularity), there are hundreds of gals that are either flash in the pan or flavors of the month. Somewhere in between these two extremes are the moderate number of gals that last a few years, retire to a website or dancing career, and are not seen from again in the movie making business. Such is the case with a lovely young former Vivid contract gal, Lori Michaels. She was a brunette with a slightly curvy body and attractive face that enjoyed both men and women on screen. In her latest Vivid compilation, Lori Michaels Uncensored, there were ten scenes of Lori in action. While a number of scenes were fairly limited in terms of technical quality and action, fans may appreciate it more than the rest of us. Read the following breakdown of the scenes by movie, director, cast and action for a look into this one, noting that condoms were common here:

Scene One: Bad Girls 7: D-Ralph Parfait: Lori and Mark had a scene in prison that started off with a glory hole. Not seeing your partner can be a big turn on and this worked for me here. He played a prison guard and she played a prisoner, engaging in sexual behavior in a bathroom. He popped off on her chest but it was a small load.

Scene Two: Stardust 8: D-Michael Zen: Lori and Mike had a scene on a futuristic set of a starship. She wore a large pink wig (it looked like a colored version of a Bride of Frankenstein wig) and the sex was dehanced by visual effects such as slow motion and reverse polarity tricks. It had oral and straight sex with little heat.

Scene Three: The Kiss: D-Toni English: Lori and Michael went at it this time in a scene by a fireplace. While the music was distracting, the action was pretty solid with the two showing a bit of heat towards one another. The scene started off with some decent foreplay, progressed to oral from both, and ended in a screw with a pop shot to her chest.

Scene Four: Conflict: D-Ren Savant: Lori, Dave and Steve had a scene in a suburban house on a couch. It had straight and oral but little heat as they seemed to be going through the motions. She looked cute enough for me but without a spark of heat, even the best-looking scene (which this was not), won't work for me.

Scene Five: All Expenses Paid: D-Paul Thomas: Lori and McKayla had a lesbian scene in a kitchen. The sex centered on oral but also included anal with a toy. The two lean gals seemed to have a great time together and it was fun to watch.

Scene Six: Statues: D-Robyn Dyer: Lori and Julian had a scene on a bed that was a lot slower than average. Obviously, his large penis caused her some pain but the oral and straight were, for the most part, fun to watch. She looked especially cute here too, even if the camera work was not the best.

Scene Seven: Cheap Shot: D-Toni English: Lori and Mark had another scene together, this time in a darkened office. She seemed to like Mark a lot more than Julian (both men aren't small if you catch my drift) and the oral with straight sex seemed better this time. He popped off on her abdomen with a decent load that she rubbed around a bit.

Scene Eight: Portraits In Blue: D-Paul Thomas: Lori took care of Joey this time at a darkened bar (after closing time I suppose). She gave him a long, lingering blowjob that looked fantastic as she used her eye contact and hand to coax him into a rock hard state. Rather than reciprocate, he started boning her vaginally for a while and then some anal. He finished by popping on her chest in this warm scene.

Scene Nine: Shooter: D-Ren Savant: Lori and Alexandra had a very short lesbian scene on a bed in a darkened room (why do they think a dark room is a better set for a porno I'll never know). The two had fun but it wasn't a long enough scene to realize the potential of these two firebrands.

Scene Ten: Ghost Town: D-Toni English: Lori and Peter had a scene in a mock cemetery outdoors. The vast majority of sex was oral with some penetration going on later in the scene. He finished by dousing her with a Peter-sized load.

Summary: Okay, this might not have been the best Vivid compilation I've seen all year but it certainly was worth a rating of Rent It or better for fans of the lovely young gal. I don't really think the "uncensored" label was all that appropriate, considering the sexual limitations here, but I did think there was a lot to like in terms of watching this cutie.
