Extra's: The best extra for me was the audio commentary with director Mark Stone. Mr. Stone may be best known for his directing days at a smaller company, Moonlight, or his great work on the All Access features for Wicked Pictures. Others may know him for his direction of the AVN 2003 shows or his music, but he does a solid job at whatever he gets his hands on. The 34.5 minute long All Access: Behind the Scenes feature by Dic Tracy was also pretty cool, with lots of footage of the gals and Mark and Jim (among others) goofing around). There was a Girls of Hook Ups #3 (a photoshoot of the gals from the movie that lasted about five minutes), a 2.5 minute long interview with Dolorian, a 2 minute interview with Bamboo, a 5.5 minute interview with Kinzie and Fallon, promotional reels, trailers to Hercules, Falling From Grace, XXX Pornstar Training and two other titles, the Free Speech Coalition commercial, DVD-Rom material: including Company profile, Casino game, Awards Winners and nominees, desktop backgrounds, double sided DVD cover

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected from Wicked Pictures. Using natural lighting really helped keep this one looking top notch and except for a tiny bit of artifacts in the first scene (Mr. Stone even commented on it in the commentary track), it was solid with minimal grain and video noise. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital surround English track that had a bit of separation (the original source material might've been in 2.0 stereo) but sounded quite clear in most cases.

Body of Review: One of the problems with modern porn is that the performers don't always work well together, even though they are paid to screw whomever the producer puts in front of them. One series that challenges this usual way of doing things is from Wicked Pictures, Hook Ups #3. The show has six scenes where the participants pick who they screw and how. The guy at the helm of this project is industry veteran Mark Stone, known for his work elsewhere and for the Behind the Scenes work he often does for Wicked, and he provided a great setting with a solid cast to entertain us all. If this sounds as good to you as it did to me, read the following scene breakdowns:

Scene One: Aria, the lean female bodybuilder known for her sexual aggression, and Dolorian, the tall blonde with the hot looking face and great body, had a scene outdoors under perfect light. Stone tells how the two really wanted to work together and how they are always at their best (I'm never seen them do a bad job myself) in a scene. They started off with a lot of nuzzling and kissing before fully exploring each other orally all over their bodies. They traded spots a few times and used a vibrator to get one another off (vaginally and anally) with Aria squirting at the end. Whew!

Scene Two: Teri, Playboy Bunny from the 1980's(?) and a favorite of older fans, wanted to work with Randy, a decent enough porn stud, while sporting her dark black hair (she seems to change hair color like some people change their pants), and working outdoors. She lounged back on a lawn chair and he sucked her toes while she grabbed his crotch and toyed with him. They did the oral to one another and eventually, he penetrated her pussy with his time-tested penis. After a bit of boning, he dropped a load on her feet and the scene ended.

Scene Three: Cherry, a lean little gal with an all natural body (and an ample sample for a backside), wanted to screw with Joey, so Mark hooked her up in another outdoor scene. Scene Five: Fallon and Kinzie, a couple of gals that were not only young but looked like they could be freshmen at a local college (in Anywhere USA), started off by eating strawberries and rubbing them on one another. While they couldn't hope to surpass the first lesbian scene of the movie, they had a warmth all their own. They didn't use toys so a lot of guys will appreciate the scene more than usual.

Scene Six: Flick and Anna, a couple of gals that have large fan followings from what I'm told, took care of Joel outdoors. There was a lot of oral, dirty talk, straight and anal between this mini-United Nations meeting (Anna is from Germany, Flick from England, and Joel from North America) and the scene was very intense. I could've done without the little flies buzzing about (they were present in a few other scenes but not as bad) but I liked the scene a whole lot.

Summary: At the end of the commentary track, Mr. Stone tells us that volume four is finished and if it's half as good as this one, it'll be a winner too. For the great cast, the high-end production values and solid extras, I'm rating this one as Highly Recommended. I generally prefer Wicked Pictures' feature movies but they offer a lot of good material outside of that genre too.
