Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. There was some grain, weak lighting, and minor video noise as well as bits with a slightly soft focus but it wasn't terrible by any means. I didn't see any compression artifacts and the compression rate seemed to hover around the mid-range area (5-7 Mbps). The audio was presented in stereo English with no separation between the channels. The vocals were usually a bit hollow and the music droned like cheesy porn but that's about par for the course, yes?

Body of Review: The Barely Legal series by Hustler is one of their most popular releases, focusing on younger gals who screw on camera. In recent months, rather than release more volumes of the series, Hustler has decided to augment the popular series by having special edition volumes. Such is the case with Barely Legal Summer Camp. The movie is a series of sex scenes that supposedly take place at a run down summer camp, where the only thing to do for kicks is have sex. While not the most advanced premise for a porno, it was good enough and the non-sex material was decidedly short. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Counselor Sandwich: Ashley, a girl next door looking gal with a lean body, started off by having some oral with Billy on a bed. The two did some 69 and were soon joined by Talon. Not long afterwards, the threesome was screwing in a variety of positions with her making lots of fake moaning sounds. There was lots of oral and straight sex with a bit of anal to top it off before the facials took place.

Scene Two: Bedtime Stories: Swan, Haley, Madison, Nicole, Cytherea, Tanya, and Simone, all joined in on a lesbian orgy in the main sleeping quarters. The gals were attractive enough for fans of adult cinema and at least half of them appeared to be enjoying themselves with orally gratifying stimulation. There was a bit of toy use but not much and this was a pretty decent scene if you like vegetarian dishes. For those who enjoy watching Cytherea play traffic cop, she barked out orders before squirting a major stream onto her new friends.

Scene Three: Fishing & Fucking: Tanya, a tall and lean blonde, and Tony, a muscular dude, had a scene by a lake after he tried to teach her how to fish. The fishing didn't go so well so he gave her a worm of his own and they did the oral with straight route, ending with a facial. It wasn't exactly awe inspiring in terms of heat but she did a good job coaxing a load out of him.

Scene Four: Anything For A Discount: Simone, a young gal with an all-natural body, and scruffy Ben, had a scene by the corral outdoors. It started off with some oral loving by him to her and then she returned the favor before they did the deed. It ended with some slow motion semen to her mouth and face but again, the heat factor was set on minimal.

Scene Five: What A View: This was less of a scene than a glimpse with one of the gals masturbating while watching another couple screw.

Scene Six: Just Ripe: Nicole, playing a bit of a hippy, took care of John, a large weird dude, on the back of his pickup truck outdoors. They both did oral to one another and then screwed for a bit before he rubbed out a load onto her pleasant looking face. It was cute, if not warm.

Scene Seven: Campfire Cock: Cytherea, the attractive squirting queen, and Ben, had a scene at night in a dark tent. She blew him, he returned the favor and then the two boned for a few minutes before she sprayed out a huge load (and he rubbed his much smaller load onto her face). It was good but during the beginning, the lighting was almost nonexistent and that's a pain.

Summary: If you enjoy the premise of seeing sexually active young women, you'll probably enjoy this one although the cookie cutter sex was not overly inventive or interesting. I'm sure it would've been hotter if the gals could have convinced Mr. McLean to just leave the cameras rolling while they got busy but that's how a lot of movies are made. If you enjoyed Barely Legal Vacation, you'll want to Rent It but keep in mind the limitations of the shoot.
