Extra's: The extras included a twelve minute long All Access: Behind the Scenes feature by Jeff Scott, a bunch of photogalleries, Star Stats, promotional reels, Free Speech Coalition commercial, DVD-ROM extras (company profile, casino game, award winners, desktop backgrounds and weblinks), trailers to movies such as Hercules, XXX Training and Falling From Grace, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. While it wasn't the absolute best looking picture I've seen on a Wicked Pictures release, it looked very crisp and clear most of the time with only minimal flaws. There were no compression artifacts or other problems relating to the DVD transfer either. The audio was presented in a remastered 5.1 Dolby Digital surround English track. There was a bit of separation with the audio effects and music but it didn't sound like it was recorded in 5.1 originally. Thankfully, it was generally clear sounding with some attention paid to the vocals and music.

Body of Review: In the quest to make feature movies for couples and those not wanting circus act sex, Wicked Pictures has experimented with a number of different themes. Their latest release, Sex & Romance is aimed squarely at the folks out there who don't want to see bareback double anal, orgies, and other forms of extreme sex. The story centered on a young attractive writer of romance novels, played by the lovely Jessica Drake, who is searching for Mr. Right amid her continuing success at having any man she desires. The story was minimal but pleasant and the sex had more foreplay than average (perhaps a bit more might be in order in the future too), which made this a decent choice for those who enjoy light dramas. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that condoms were used and the sex was primarily oral and straight:

Scene One: Victoria, an attractive brunette with large implants (and, sadly enough, horrible scars underneath her breasts), took care of the mighty Evan in the bathtub. She started off by giving him a sloppy blowjob that was far too short considering the high quality of it and he then turned his attention to her crotch by going down on her in similar fashion, using his tongue and fingers to get her off before the intercourse. They screwed for a while and he eventually shot his load into her waiting mouth.

Scene Two: Jessica, looking quite fine, started this scene by masturbating until Brad walks in on her and offers a hand, and other body parts too I suspect. The two had some decent foreplay, something I don't see enough of in adult movies, before she dropped to her knees and blew him. He returned the favor on her before they screwed. It was a slowly paced screw, something that might appeal more to those of you who aren't as jaded as I am, but it was warm nonetheless.

Scene Three: Wendy, looking fit and cute with the longest mane of blonde hair I've ever seen her with (extensions?), and real life partner Eric, had a scene at the dinner table. It was a bit spirited and energetic, I'd expect nothing less from these two, with Jessica paying them no attention at all (which would've taken some acting ability). The sex was oral and straight with a facial, yet it had plenty of chemistry too.

Scene Four: Wendy, back for some more magic, took care of John this time on a couch. The two did not have as much chemistry as the last scene (I'll let you figure out why), but she continued to show a lot of energy and enjoyment out of the scene. She appeared to get off in both scenes with this one an oral with straight and facial too.

Scene Five: Paulina and Victoria had a lesbian scene together on a desk after getting into an argument. The grudge-fuck aspects of the scene were pretty warm and the ladies did a good job here using their tongues and fingers (no toys) to get one another off. During most of the scene, they kept some clothes on which was kind of hot too.

Scene Six: Jessica, never one to let a guy down, took care of Steven outdoors. She gave him a terrific blowjob, lots of eye contact, slobbering, and fiction, before sitting on his lap and riding him for a while. They then did doggy and other positions before he rubbed out a load onto her. I enjoyed the scene (after all, Jessica is great looking in any scene, yes?) but wish it lasted longer.

Summary: For those of you searching for something that is friendly to most couples, at least compared to 95% of the other releases out there, this will be one I can safely Recommended. It's not for everyone but the cast was attractive, the sex warm, and the production values solid with decent extras.
