Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as I expected it to be. The grain wasn't bad although some of the lighting was uneven (something not typical in a Red Light District release) and I'd have to suggest the overall picture, even though it was free of compression artifacts, was only about average. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English but I didn't notice any major separation between the channels. The women rarely said anything, probably due to limited English language skills, and the music was cheesy.

Body of Review: Last year, Red Light District was the king of Gonzo porn, surpassing even Evil Angel in terms of quality and price combined with a huge number of attractive gals, many of which were new to porn. While the company had a handful of critics, most of them were unable to face the music that the company provided the best value in the world of gonzo porn. While the company had its share of difficulties, there is no reason to think they are going to lose market share in the New Year, as long as they stick to the formula that made them winners. In the latest release by the company though, they drop the ball in a rare stinker, one they sat on for a long time before releasing it (making me think they knew it was a stinker too), One On One #3. Unlike Volume 1 of the series, this one goes to Brazil, home of some major hot sweeties, in hopes of finding a new batch of them to present on camera. Needless to say, they proved they aren't flawless and here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Evelyn, the gal featured on the front DVD cover, was a lean little gal with a round ass. She teased the camera for a few moments until Joel entered the picture and went down on her. She returned the favor by blowing him (using her hand to help increase friction) and then she sat on his penis. They did a few other positions and he jerked off on her chest. There really wasn't any chemistry or energy here (at least for me) but my hopes are high since this is a Red Light District release.

Scene Two: Lorena, another average looking gal with an ample ass, had a scene with Joel after they started kissing one another beside a couch. She went down on him and he reciprocated afterwards although neither showed much passion for it. She just looked too young for my tastes and even the straight with anal sex afterwards lacked something to make me have fun. It ended with a facial but her screams didn't sound like screams of pleasure. That's okay, there are four more scenes and it's bound to get better for me.

Scene Three: Jessica, a more attractive brunette (again, with a lovely round ass), bent over the couch to let Pete play with her a bit. He started off by rubbing some cream on it (no, not that kind of cream) and massaging her before kissing her a bit. They then went straight to boning, not standard practice at Red Light District, and screwed in several positions before he rubbed out a load on her face. She did a bit of sucking on it but not a whole lot. There was a little bit of energy this time, although not what I was hoping for.

Scene Four: Shyva, another lean looking gal with an attractive face, started out her scene with Pete rubbing her in a point of view style. She sucked him off for a moment before they screwed on the floor. They did some straight screwing and then anal but she acted like the clock was running and when it ended, with him dropping a load on her face, I had pretty much given up any hope for a good DVD.

Scene Five: Fernanda, a gal I'm sure I've seen elsewhere, showed off her lean body and interesting face as she masturbated on a couch. Marcus did the honors this time and displayed her sweet looking ass as he played with it and spanked her a bit. They boned and then she showed some initiative by blowing him to completion, using her hand. It was not very well done and she appeared more like a housewife putting up with sex to get a night out than anything else.

Scene Six: Cristina, a weird looking gal with bleached blond hair, masturbated on the bed for the camera. As she touched herself, I knew that this was the last scene and anything less than a great one would mean the movie stunk like a two-dollar whore. Joel was the guy this time and I know he'll screw anything that moves but I was wishing her performance would be top notch. Sadly, it was not very good either (her bonus footage with David Luger was better and that was just a blowjob). The straight sex was okay and the anal not bad but nothing to elevate the DVD to a better status.

Summary: Okay, the production values weren't perfect but the cast was the problem here. The gals just didn't seem all that interested in creating any heat and it showed in almost every scene. I know this was made long before the recent troubles the company has had but I hope it's not a sign that substandard product will be released in the future (my fingers are crossed since I think they are better than average most of the time). I'm suggesting this one as a Skip It for anyone who wants attractive gals having great sex since that combination wasn't present here.
