Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.85:1 ratio non-anamorphic widescreen color, not the usual full frame the porn industry is known for. The picture was generally clear but had some spots that weren't lit all that well (from a voyeur's perspective at least), and this added grain and video noise when it happened. I know that this is a stylish technique employed by the director but until the primary audience for such movies is women, I'll take even, flat lighting every time and leave the over saturated colors for someone else. The audio was presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital surround English although most of the vocals came from the center channel and the music (which was set too high) had little separation too. Other than the music being set too high, it sounded good. For those who care more about technical aspects than what the eye sees, the bit rate was varied but usually in the area of 5.7 Mbps.

Body of Review: For those who enjoy feature porn, there aren't many places to go these days if you want quality movies. Part of this is due to the ease of shooting a gonzo release (which is also cheaper to make) and part of it is the industry chasing the more extreme acts rather than trying to expand the market. At this writing, Wicked Pictures is the company dominating feature porn, although I'll be the first to admit other companies have made some great movies as well. In their latest release from contract director Michael Raven, Lovestruck, the story focuses on a couple played by Devinn Lane and Joey Ray. They are looking back on their relationship as the movie starts off with a series of wedding shots. Both had problems finding someone they wanted to stay with, rather than just sleep with, as a great many people in the real world have experienced. In the end, they held out for the "right" person and appreciate each other all the more because of it. If there had been infidelity involved, I'm sure Brad Armstrong would've directed it, or if there had been a lot of physical comedy, Jonathan Morgan would've stepped up to the plate but Raven's strengths are played well to here. If this sounds interesting to you, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Olivia, a curvy brunette with large implants and a nasty side to her, had a scene with Joey, on a couch in a loft. They both had some oral here and the main focus was straight intercourse with him jerking his load to her face. This was fairly tame for her, even though she fingered her ass a bit during the scene, but it was fun to watch. She has a lot of talent and the willingness to show it for the camera.

Scene Two: Wendy, a long time favorite of mine, Ava, another hotty, and Kurt, had a scene in bed. The scene was oral and straight but had some playfulness to it, much like the other scenes here. It really seemed the threesome had a lot of fun but I wish it had lasted longer. Neither gal is 18 years old and both have been making movies for years but their experience proves a contention of mine that the industry focuses too much on youth (overlooking such talented performers too often).

Scene Three: Wendy, portraying the significant other of Nick, got him warmed up in bed, waking him for a bout of sex. It started off with the usual blowjob but she worked it hard in no time at all when he told her that she could have it if she got it hard. He didn't bother to go down on her and instead starting planking her in a few positions until he jerked off onto her stomach.

Scene Four: Devinn, the cute lead of the film, and pretty boy Dale, had a scene on a comfy sofa. It wasn't that long ago that she started doing guys on camera, in The Devinn Lane Show 5, but she has taken to them like a fish to water, sucking dick like it was her lifeblood. She commented in the interview how her breasts are growing (a good thing) and she used them to full effect here. There was oral, dirty talk, and straight sex here with her howling a major turn on. She doesn't come off like a porn slut and this made her scenes hotter for me.

Scene Five: Nicole, a beautiful blonde with exceptional sexual talent herself, had a scene with her real-life husband Voodoo on a couch. To simply list the sex acts, in this case, oral and straight, would not do it justice since the two have a chemistry surpassing that of all the others here (and I liked those scenes). There was no anal but there wasn't any need for it either with Nicole finishing him off with a handjob and oral. Whew!

Scene Six: Devinn, still new to having sex with males on screen, did Joey by the fireplace. A shag carpet is a good place to shag but the two started off by making out and caressing one another. They did oral and straight with some passion, making for a solid scene. If you're looking for circus act sex, you'll want to skip this one but that's not the primary audience for anything released by Wicked Pictures.

Summary: I like the female performers here and think they did a solid job with their skilled ability and proper attitude. With Valentine's Day coming up quick, I'd suggest this one as Recommended for any couples looking for something that had plenty of heat, although stuck with the general porno formula in most ways. Fans of Devinn Lane will appreciate her being in two full scenes involving men and I'll be the first one to admit this was fun to watch. Michael Raven is proving to be an invaluable asset to Wicked Pictures and if his progress continues, he may be appreciated before long.
