Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is shot these days. I've noticed a lot of improvement by Vivid on their features of late so I was a bit taken aback as I watched this one. There was grain and video noise as well as some pixelation and issues with lighting that bothered me. I didn't see many compression artifacts but there were a lot of other little problems that made me wonder what director Thomas was doing when the cameras were running (perhaps he uses his aliases whenever he's not satisfied with the end product). The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English and varied a bit as well, particularly the vocals, but also with the lame music. The music would start and stop like someone in the editing bay figured it would go unnoticed (that's why reviewing at regular speed is so important); I just hope the audio gets more attention in the future.

Body of Review: Contract stars tend to gain a large fan following if properly promoted by their parent company. This in turn, lets fans know where to look for new projects, rather than rely on the spotty quality of internet databases. One such star is the lovely and talented Savanna Samson, a blonde with a smoking hot body and sexual attitude that revolves around having fun. Savanna works at Vivid Entertainment, one of the biggest companies in the industry (although under the umbrella of Hustler these days), and is known as one of their few stars that enjoys sex to it's fullest, including anal. Whatever else can be said about the company, this little filly would be at home in almost any of the larger, better, companies. In her latest release, The Wedding, Savanna plays a woman about to be married off to the son of a rich couple. Her parents are also well off and the marriage is more of an arranged one than of love (in fact, they hardly know one another). The story was minimal, the acting weak, but the sex sometimes pretty good so if this interests you, read the following scene breakdowns:

Scene One: Rebecca, a gal with huge implanted breasts and a chunk ass, took Dale to a messy dressing room of sorts and started kissing him to get him warmed up. She took the initiative and blew him while he played with her. He even got in some titty fucking but not much before he started boning her (after making her taste herself a bit). The technical flaws of the scene were many, including lens flare, a dirty lens, poor use of lighting and major grain as much as lousy camera positioning. The music gladly stopped part way through the scene (it was bad enough to want me to start speeding through but I wanted an honest review to contrast that of other websites). She had an attractive face and some working out could improve her body but this scene, for all the oral and straight sex it provided, was not very good.

Scene Two: Savanna, the hot blonde lead of the show seen on the front DVD cover, took care of Chris on a bed after stripping off her clothes (leaving a thong that didn't last long either). She inhaled his penis and coaxed him with her voice for a while until Mark joined them by going down on her. The guys then took turns boning her pussy before they engaged in a DP (double penetration). It ended with her taking a couple of facials, yet still giving them a post orgasm suck. Yum!

Scene Three: Lauren and Victoria, a couple of okay looking performers, had a lesbian scene as they got ready for the wedding to take place. The acting was stilted more than usual but they were pretty good together sexually. Lauren's use of the strap on dildo was fair at best although some fans will like that anal was included in this vegetarian scene. I like lesbian scenes more than average but this one left me cold (and Lauren was very nice to me during the recent AEE show mentioned at the bottom of the review so you know it couldn't be too good).

Scene Four: Lauren was back with Rebecca on a bed to do Evan this time. The sex wasn't the most exciting in the world but the trio had some playfulness with one another and the oral with straight seemed as though everyone had a bit of fun that day. The pop shot was to Rebecca's ass and Lauren licked it a bit to finish up the scene.

Scene Five: Savanna, still looking great, had a scene with Dale in the dressing room. I liked her lingerie and it appeared she toned up even more for the movie. In any case, she orally pleased him before the two took to boning, first on the bed and then in the shower. The sex then progressed to anal but only a little bit and the choppy editing led me to think a lot of footage was excised from the final cut. As much as I like Savanna and her performances, I thought this was a weak scene.

Summary: I can't say I liked this release as much as Savanna Scores in that the sex wasn't as good, the production values weaker than usual, and the overall package not up to Vivid's usual level of quality. The best thing I can say about the DVD is that the three bonus scenes with Savanna were far better than the two here and the other scenes for the feature were more filler than anything else (a couple were okay). Even the best companies sometimes falter, and this was the case with The Wedding so Skip It.
