Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that most porn is made with. The picture quality varied a lot with a few scenes looking really saturated and grainy with lots of video noise. I didn't see any compression artifacts but the overall look of the movie was not as good as Platinum X Pictures is known for lately. The audio was presented in the standard 2.0 stereo English but the volume of the vocals was all over the place. In some scenes, I had to blast my stereo to almost full volume to try and discern the names given and then the music would kick in and nearly blow out my ears. The music was generic pap too. I like Sean's work, at least some of it, but he needs to get a better soundman.

Body of Review: The porn industry is awash in change these days with stars leaving one company to start another or to join up with a newer company in order to get a better deal. This has happened with such notables as Lexington Steele and now it's happening to Sean Michaels. Sean has a long history of making movies in the jizz bizz and now that he has hooked up with Platinum X Pictures, he may be able to fully utilize his business talents and produce the kind of porn he has always dreamed of. I met with him recently at the 2004 AEE Show and he indicated that we should expect his work to get better with each release. Hopefully, he was right since the technical aspects to his latest release, Ass Lickers 4, were not what I had hoped for. The focus of the show was to have the women lick the guys' asses during the scene and most scenes had some anal sex. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that the credits and other references did not agree with one another:

Scene One: Sabina and Brittney, a couple of attractive gals started off in a lesbian combination but were soon joined by Sean on the couch. The sex included lots of oral and straight with some anal as well. When it came time to lick Sean's ass, the gal cheated and only licked near the upper crack, the near the hole (fine by me but fans want to see it all). The sex was okay and the gals assisted one another but I didn't think there was much heat. Fans of ATM (ass to mouth) should note that a lot of it took place throughout the movie.

Scene Two: Vanessa, a raven-haired hotty with a great body, wanted a morning sendoff prize from Mark before he went to work. She blew him in the kitchen and gave him a short rimjob as well. She received some rimming too and soon enough, they were screwing. There was PTM (pussy to mouth) and some anal taking place with ATM (you guessed it) before he dropped his load into her mouth.

Scene Three: Cherry, a curvy gal with blonde highlights, started off by masturbating for the camera on a bed. Sean joined her and she began by sucking him off. She then rimmed him and they began screwing, with some serious problems with the lighting, and it ended fairly quickly. Scene Four: Simone, a light skinned Black gal with a nice body, began this scene by stripping and then masturbating on a couch. She played with her ass, inserting her finger, and then took care of Sean by blowing him. She cleaned his dick with her mouth but she didn't give him a rimjob like the others did.

Scene Five: Vanessa, Slauka, Sean, and Rob had a scene together. The gals started off in a lesbian tryst on a bed and the men soon joined them. It was more of an orgy than anything else and everyone seemed happy swapping partners (the guys stayed away from one another though) and the scene even included a DP (double penetration). Most of the rimming went to the women and scene ended when the gals blew them.

Summary: I'm going to rate this one as a Rent It since the audio problems and varying heat were not up to my expectations. Sean needs to work on some aspects of his production more and than, it is reasonable to expect the ratings to increase accordingly. There was a lot of good sex here but the limitations make me think you should check it out as a rental first before shelling out your hard earned cash.
