Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, what most porno's are shot in these days. For the most part, it looked pretty solid although there were a few moments when the picture degraded a bit (compression artifacts) and the colors were off. I didn't see a lot of problems other than that with the picture though. The audio was presented in the typical stereo English with a bit of variation between the levels of the vocals. For the most part, the audio wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as some of Jewel's other works.

Body of Review: Those who've watched porn for more than a few years know that Jewel De'Nyle has always been able to deliver the goods as a performer, and more recently as a director, when given the opportunity to do so. After a string of bad luck with companies that treated her like cattle, she finally saw the light and started working for her own company, a move that has worked quite well for this talented gal. As her technical skills improve, I can see her movies gaining even more acclaim by those critics who just hate seeing a gal succeed against all odds. For the record, she doesn't make porn your old man would find comfortable either-just balls to the wall hardcore that even makes me take pause from time to time. In her latest release, XXX Platinum Blonde, she gets a group of blondes together to provide you with some nasty action, including lots of anal, with some great success. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no dialogue or plot took place here and each scene started off with some tease/dancing:

Scene One: Taylor L., a blonde with a curvy body, started things off by putting on a striptease act. I liked it and then she kept getting better by masturbating for the viewer, something I always like. My problem was when the guys came in. Scott is a guy that looks like he has some kind of disease (or a severe case of anorexia nervosa) although Chris was a strapping lad. She blew them both at once (two cocks in the same mouth isn't my favorite action) and then they took turns boning her. She did a DP (double penetration) and licked her juices off their penises, with some energy but again, every time the camera went to the little performer, I lost my wood. The pop shots were kind of weak, dribbling out like the men had worked earlier in the day. I'd like to see more of her though, just without the one guy in the scene.

Scene Two: Michelle, a sweetheart of a blonde that I met recently, (or was it her twin?), started off the scene by stripping off her skimpy clothing on a bed and picking up a large toy. She played with it for a short time before taking on the wonderfully talented Tony. She blew him, he hammered her pussy for less than a minute, and then the anal action began. Her curves were kicking and I was thinking about sticking, to quote Sir Mix A Lot, and the tease portion of the scene would've been enough for me if I hadn't known she'd be in action soon. I didn't think she'd be doing anal here since she was so energetic with the vaginal action but she did do it, and do it well. I could've done without the ATM but she proved to be someone to watch for in the future. It ended with a healthy sized facial.

Scene Four: Allysin, looking lean as ever, and still worth my attention after all these years, kept to the formula and did a little dance, this time in a living room. I would've preferred she kept her natural breasts but a lot of you want bigger, even if faker, breasts so I'll shut up about it. I've always thought her fresh face was enough to get a guy off too and when she took on Julian, I knew she'd be sore for a week afterwards. They did a lot of position shifting and she tasted herself off of his large penis more than a few times as the two interacted on camera. The scene had plenty of energy and chemistry, making it another winner.

Scene Five: Vicki, a gal that defies odds with her wanton sexuality and age (don't let anyone kid you, she's every bit as desirable as someone half her age), and Taylor, a blonde, started off the scene by warming each other up by an outdoor fountain. Their kiss was hot and soon enough, they took the show inside to be joined by Anthony, a stud known for his winning ways. The trio got busy on a bed in a number of positions, mostly doing oral and straight but also some anal. Both gals got a coating of facial goo and the scene was solid.

Summary: I liked this one enough to rate it as at least a Recommended although fans of circus act sex will likely want to rate it even higher. Jewel has an eye for hardcore directing and grows with each release, making me wonder why she took so long to blow off some of the companies that held her back in the past. The cast here, with few exceptions, were great, the technical stuff pretty good, and the action enough for all but the most twisted fans of hardcore, so check it out unless you can't handle "real porn".
