Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, the industry standard at this time. The movie had a lot of grain and the colors were off but it was an ultra low budget release made five years ago so you can't expect too much. There were some compression artifacts too and the video noise distracted me. The audio sounded like it was in monaural English but it registered as stereo on my receiver. The sound was hollow and lacked dynamic range but the big problem was with the audio levels varying so much.

Body of Review: Fans of lesbian movies have had a lot to chose from over the years since that is a major genre in the porn market. Even features routinely contain at least one such scene and those who enjoy them are always looking for something new. That said, fans of Gina Ryder probably know she enjoys men and women alike when it comes to her porn and it should come as no surprise that years ago, she tried her hand at directing a lesbian flick (with a whole lot of help from Mickey Ray (now the publicist for the excellent Simon Wolf Productions). The title of the movie, and focus of this review, was Gina's Girls and focused on showing several gals having lesbian sex with Gina. One of the gals is Wicked Pictures contract gal Devinn Lane, well before she found her mark in the industry. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Gina, an original Texas Treasure, and Envy, had a lesbian scene on a bed. They started off by kissing and slowly massaging one another, savoring the taste of their body parts, after which they started getting a bit more frantic. Gina looked very fresh here and each seemed to enjoy the taste of one another's pussy. They used some toys, including a strap-on dildo, both seeming to orgasm at least once.

Scene Two: Amber, an Asian gal with a lean body, spent some time with her interview, seemingly longer than the first scene and picked some cool toys to use off the "toy table". They go up to the second floor master bathroom and hop in the large, sunken bathtub that had a lot of bubbles. They went down on one another and used the chosen toys with Gina appearing to be the most oriented towards the same sex experience.

Scene Three: Gina started the next scene by interviewing Melody on the second story porch outdoors. Melody was another one that wasn't really comfortable with the whole lesbian experience but was willing to give it a shot. After the interview and toy selection, they went to a large couch and started in on one another. The sex was fairly mechanical but Gina seemed at ease in giving head to her new friend. It wasn't the worst scene I've watched in my life but it was fairly lame.

Scene Four: Gina, Envy, Amber and Melody, enjoyed a short lesbian orgy together on the floor by the window. It wasn't anything special but fans will have a bit of fun here. They licked one another and used toys, ending up in a daisy chain.

Scene Five: Devinn, way back when she was new to porn (many of us have never seen her outside of a Wicked Pictures release), followed the formula and had a scene with Gina. Apparently, she showed up late so she missed out on the orgy but she seemed to be the only one of the batch (other than Gina) that really enjoyed lesbian sex. She claimed to be 27 years old (and this was 5 years ago) and looked very lean. They didn't waste any time going to the toy table, instead preferring to climb up on the kitchen counter and go at one another and use food. This was by far the best scene of the movie.

Summary: To be fair, aside from the weak production values, only Devinn's scene was worth watching more than once. Fans of hers and Gina's will want to check this one out but all others will want to Skip It. There is just too much good porn on the market to waste your time on substandard releases. This one screamed low budget, churn it out, crap and even a fan of the two hotties mentioned earlier (like myself) would be hard pressed to recommend this one.
