Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that has been the standard for porno's for quite some time. Like most gonzo, the picture was not very good, especially by today's standards. There was a lot of grain and video noise, particularly in the darker rooms and the color saturation left much to be desired in a couple scenes. I didn't see any compression artifacts but there was some pattern noise in a few scenes. The audio was presented in what appeared to be monaural English with little dynamic range and levels that varied enough to cause me concern (my neighbors don't care for hearing porn and if I set the levels for one scene, the next might be too loud). To give a good idea of the overall quality, think of a Buttman movie (by Evil Angel) on half the budget or less.

Body of Review: In recent years, few men have been so associated with ass and gonzo porn as the master, John Stagliano, and Seymore Butts. Of the two, most fans prefer the vaunted original king of anal, John, but that doesn't mean Seymore is a worthless piece of crap. Over the years, he has developed quite a following of fans that enjoyed his anal antics that were years ahead of their time. Back before ATM (ass to mouth) was common, he was the sicko really introduced it to the masses and the same holds true for felching and other circus act sex. With a new distribution deal (with Pure Play Media), Seymore is releasing all of his back catalog (except for maybe the unedited release that got him nailed by authorities a few years ago). In what was originally his 39th release, Seymore Butts' Tushy Girls Live!, Seymore starts off by watching a show of his gals at Bob's Classy Lady (nudie bar) and then progresses to something of an audition for new performers. If you enjoy the gonzo style that is full of POV action, read the following scene breakdowns:

Scene One: Sadie, Samantha, and Alisha, were nervous about their live show about to go on at a nudie bar in LA so they borrow Tom to relieve some stress. The gal's attack his penis and ass like they contained oxygen and their spaceship just crashed on the moon. The point of view nature of the shoot was kind of claustrophobic and the lighting lousy but it was more like it wasn't scripted so this should appeal to many of you. Most of the sex is oral and straight with the secondary performers tending to whoever was actively boning at the time (rubbing balls, massaging assholes and the like). There was some anal going on too and it ended when he blew his nut on one of their chests and face. After the scene, the gals put on a tame show on the stage to a small crowd.

Scene Two: Alisha, a curvy brunette, Elena, a blonde that likes pussy, and old man Ron, had a scene in bed together. The gals started it off like a lesbian scene and eventually Ron joins them in the action. The sex included a lot of oral and straight but also anal with ass to mouth (ATM) and a technical DP (one penis and one toy, each in their own hole). I liked Elena a lot and wish I had seen her more back when this originally came out although her ass zits weren't plentiful, they were distracting (her only weak point). It ended when Ron shot his wad on her ass.

Scene Three: Alisha and Elle were joined by Tom in bed for the next scene. Elle ate Alisha while Tom ate her to warm up. The picture looked better here, perhaps because it was a standard location for Seymore to shoot, and after a few minutes, Tom got a blowjob too with the gals taking turns on his medium sized love wand. They took turns riding his penis in their pussy's and asses. There was more of the ATM action that some of you seem to enjoy (yuck) and everyone got into the action once more.

Scene Four: Alisha, not tired from all the other scenes figured she'd give Seymore a mercy fuck. He went down on her and used much of his hand inside her to get her to squirt. She then started blowing him and before long, they screwed anally. She didn't really seem to enjoy the anal action as much as his fingers and those ATM fans will be happy to know that she did some of that too. The camera got messed up and streaks of fluid covered it by this point.

Bonus Scene: The bonus scene started off with Seymore and Flower playing air hockey. She's a blonde with a few extra pounds (that look good on her) and has sex with him since he was such a jerk that he shut her out. She gave him a blowjob while masturbating in a POV scene.

Summary: If you have enjoyed Seymore's works in the past, the new DVD releases include an extra scene and look somewhat cleaned up. Due to the limitations of the original material, there was only so much the company could do with the picture and audio but that might be part of the charm (just like some people prefer Evil Angel over Red Light District, even though RLD almost always looks far better). I'm going to rate this one as a Rent It but acknowledge that fans of older gonzo and Seymore's nasty antics will probably see this as a must have.
