I high-tailed it to Michigan last weekend to hang out with my friends, drink beer, smoke some herb, and watch plenty of horror movies. We all all big ol' horror geeks and had a groovy time. We watched the original/restored My Bloody Valentine (1980), the new 3-D remake of My Bloody Valentine (which looked excellent on blu ray), the early 1970s cheese fest Frogs, a cool little odd indie Plague Town, the awesome Trick 'r Treat, and lots of fun trailer compilations.

I recently discovered a groovy movie from the UK called Tormented. It hasen't had a release in the US yet but it's 100% better than most of the shitty horror movies that get a release here. I just got back from Borders Books where there is a 50% off sale on all DVDs. I stocked up on a bunch of 1970s television shows including The Rookies, Charlie's Angels, Streets of San Francisco, Ironsides, and Emergency.

I recently finished a review for Top Brass Military Issue #4. I really liked the movie and there are plenty of hot straight Navy and Marine dudes who are willing to wank their cocks and "experiment" with man-on-man action.

Whew! I had a wild week @ work and was more than happy to sling back some beers with my buddies last night. I'm now enjoying some hot coffee and listening to The Raconteurs. I love their new album "Consolers of the Lonely".

My folks came to visit last weekend so I had to hide my review screeners. I'm completely out to them but still didn't want Mom to see some big thang staring at her. That would have been rude. Ha! We watched "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" and enjoyed. Beautiful cinematography, strong direction, and excellent acting (especially Casey Affleck).

My old home computer finally kicked the bucket so with the help of my tax refund check, I'm up 'n running on a new PC.

I went to see The Donnas last week and the gals kicked some serious rock and roll ass! During the song "Smoke You Out", someone lit up a big fattie filling the air with the sweet smell of party fun. The gals noticed, laughed, and ripped into "Get You High".
